Target 70% Easter Clearance Finds

So S and I ventured out today to check out the Target Easter clearance.  There wasn’t anything that I really needed so I was very selective in what I bought.  I knew I was only going to my Target that I always shop at so I would get any Legos I found and a few things I wanted to round out some birthday gifts.  I spent $20.50, but $5 of that was for scrunchies that were not part of the Easter clearance.  I know who buys scrunchies anymore?  I needed them to hold my hair up when I am sleeping, not to wear in public.

  • I was able to find the Legos up front at the registers, even the Lego Friends.  I have no shame walking through each register to try to find them.  Just a hint when you are looking up at the registers the holiday bags for Legos and Lego Friends are slightly bigger then the regular Legos up a the registers.  I got the Lego Creator for $.98 and the Lego Friends for $1.49 each.  When I find them at 70% I get them because it is hard enough to find them at 70% let alone 90%.  Those that find a ton at 90% are the luckiest ever.  The Legos are going to work out great for stocking stuffers as S gets older.

  • I know I still can’t believe that I bought scrunchies either.  I used to have buckets of them and got rid of them all except for a few.  Those are so stretched out now I can wear them for headbands.  I cannot sleep with hair in my face and regular elastic bands tend to cause breakage in my hair.  So now to the price, I paid $4.48 for the set, but will continue to watch and see if they go cheaper.  I only got one pack of chapstick because my store still had a ton.  This is a new flavor so I am not sure if I am going to like it and did not want to over buy.  It is pomegranate punch and was only $1.19 for the pack.

  • B has been asking me to watch clearances for little dart guns to play with, so I have been keeping my eye on them.  I got one for him and his friend that have suction cups and could only find one of the Cars guns with Nerf darts.  I am going to keep my eyes peeled when I hit up the other stores in a few days.  Each gun was only $1.50 each.  I would love to get these for goodie bags for S when he goes to school, but I don’t think guns would be very appropriate.  Someone correct me if I am wrong.

  • S loves gel clings and there were a ton of Easter ones left.  I told him we could get one Spring one for now and when they go cheaper I will buy him more.  This cling was only $.60.

  • I was able to find one wooden puzzle that everyone has been talking about and it ended up only being $1.50.  How perfect for the new baby or for a gift.  I could not find anymore puzzles and believe me I looked.  I got one Doc McStuffin bag to complete a birthday gift I have and one Sofia the First purse to finish another gift.  Each purse was only $1.49.  There were a ton more in the regular toy aisles, but I got what I needed and can get more of them if they are still there at 90%.

  • I was looking at the dollar spot hoping to find some good deals, sadly it was still 50% off.  I did get two pairs of tights for the new baby since they were only 50% and only cost $.50.  I know am going to hate having to buy tights at full price to only wear them once, so I mine as well start getting them cheap when I can.

Not a bad little haul.  I could have gotten so much more but really refrained from getting anything.  I found the single EOS lip balm in our store but they were ringing up $2.34.   I found some bubble buckets in the regular aisle that had bunnies, chicks, and flowers all over it.  I thought for sure it would have been part of the Easter clearance but surprisingly enough they weren’t.  There wasn’t any hidden clearance this time around that I could find that was not Easter and just put back in the regular aisles.  I did find Minnie Mouse dress up jewelry in the regular aisles instead of over with the Easter clearance.  I am going to keep checking all the blogs and see if anyone finds any good hidden clearance.  I am hoping I will be able to snag quite a bit when it all goes 90%.  I am thinking Sunday morning.  I will be getting up super early because we are celebrating Easter at my moms at 11am so I need to be done by then.

Hi, was there anything special about the Doc McStuffin and Sofia the First activity bags? I scanned one at my store but it came up regular price and it looked just like the picture you posted? Thanks!

No, when I checked the regular aisles after the Easter stuff the skus were the same. Here are the skus on the back of the bags along with Target numbers.

      Sofia the First
      Sku-029116816886
      Target #086022961

      Doc McStuffins
      Sku-029116924185
      Target #086022961

Not sure what the difference is, I know stuff doesn’t always ring up the same at all Targets. The EOS lip balms everyone is getting for $.89 are ringing up $2.34 at mine. Same skus just no reasoning. Let me know if this helps.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
