I thought this would be funny to the kids to just see a fried egg on the stove. This is going to serve two purposes. One to play a joke on the kids and two for a place to put the cooking utensils when we are using the stove. The egg is dishwasher and microwave safe.
There are other uses for a ceramic spoon rest if you didn’t need or want it on your stove. It could also be a great little tray to hold jewelry when you are washing dishes, in the bathroom, or at night when you take off your daily jewelry. I thought it would be fun to keep either a bar of soap on it or even a scrubber on the side of a kitchen sink.
