Thursday Treats is about all of the best things I have had happened in the past week as far as good things, good foods, awesome finds at stores, great TV shows, etc.
- I took S to his build at Lowe’s and we made the Toy Story Pizza Planet truck. All was going well until we didn’t follow the directions properly and nailed part of the truck to a big stack of wood they use as a table. Everyone around us got a good laugh and I had one heck of a pulling match with the truck to get it off the wood stack.
- Today is Target day. I heard the summer clearance went 50% off and I am hoping that by maybe Saturday it will go to 70%, which is when it is really time to start looking. I can’t wait to see what others post on their websites/blogs so I know what to go hunting for.
- Tonight I am having the House Party for Stampin’ Up, Paper Pumpkin. I am also doing my Ambassador Mom party for chicken. B has agreed to make the chicken so I do not have to touch it. Yeah!
- Quite a few shows have started new seasons in the past week or so and I am so excited. Some of the new seasons are Suits, Covert Affairs, and tonight Project Runway. Sadly one of my favorite shows I have followed since the beginning ended, Intervention. I don’t know why but I could not help but watch the show, it is like a car crash. You shouldn’t look, but can’t help yourself.
- I got S some good deals for summer clothes that will probably fit him in a year or two. Man it stinks that he is getting bigger, especially because the bigger he gets the more the clothes cost.

Although I do Thursday Treats, it is pretty similar to Jen at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom‘s Thursday Thoughts, so I am linking up with her today.
Mostly I bought Coke Zero!!! 🙂 I saw that Covert Affairs is on my TiVo. Love it! I need to catchup with tv before my disk is full. I have an expander hard drive and it’s at 98%! Busy around here!
My DVR is pretty full at about 89% right now. I have a lot of movies saved on it from when we had the free HBO/Cinemax weekend in June. Gotta get through them, but with all the good shows on them I never find the time.

And why don’t I go those Lowe’s / HOme Depot events?? I need to start!
I am guessing Summer clearance will go Saturday also. If not definitely Sunday. The Lowe’s/Home Depot events are a lot of fun. I bet L would love them. We started going when S was only 2. Next weekend they have a Toy Story build they are making RC at Lowe’s. You should sign L up and make B take him.
