Target 70% Christmas Clearance 2015 Finds Round 1 of 3

I cannot believe that I trusted Brickseek.com when it came to my beloved Target.  I did, but someone had messaged me on Facebook and then I messaged her today and she went this morning.  She told me it went 70%.  I kicked myself for not going first thing this morning.  I went after P took her nap.  I promised B I would only be an hour so I had to find what I really wanted and get out.  I got everything I was hoping to find.  I managed to get all of this and spent $36.70.  I went to check out and could not believe I left my wallet at home.  Thank goodness I just happen to have cash on me.

• Can you believe I actually found two of the candy cane Playdohs?  There were two of them in the regular aisle with the Playdoh and they were only $1.49 each.  I found one Hot Wheels pack ($1.34 each) mixed in with the regular cars and the other in the Christmas section.  I also found one of the Lego Friends sets ($1.19 each) behind a display in Lego Friends aisle.  I act like a cleaner when I go and try to figure out where items could have fallen.  There were pegs above the display so I checked behind to see if any sets fell behind and one did! I found the other 3 Lego Friend sets with the Hot Wheels 4-pack in the Christmas section.  So many items fall behind the shelves and get caught or fall all the way to the bottom as these did.  I simply lift the bottom shelf and check underneath them.  You would not believe the finds I have gotten from under there.  I shouldn’t be telling my tricks but why not share with everyone.

• I cannot believe I am actually buying girl undies already, but I did.  These sets were in the regular aisle and were only $1.79 each.  Granted they are too big for P now, but she will grow into them.  I also got S Despicable Me jammies for $5.09. I am not sure why but they had not pulled the tank and undie sets for women back with the rest of the Christmas clearance and they were on an endcap. I grabbed a pair for only $4.49.  There were quite a few of the Peanuts left and will get more if they are still there at 90%.

• I consider this my big splurge of the year.  I got new ornaments to hang outside on the trees for next year.  In previous years I wait until they are 90% off and get very few of them. This year since it took so long to go 70% I went ahead and bought all of them at every store.  I got these 12 for $.90 each.  Some are missing the strings that hang down from them (they are balloons if you couldn’t figure it out) but there were still cute and I figured I could find string to hang from them.

That was my store I frequent the most (Perrysburg) and did not leave feeling like I didn’t get something.  I didn’t need to go to any other stores, but could not help myself.
