Saturday Sales

Saturday Sales

Saturday Sales is all about the great deals I found in-store or online. I know this is only going to show you how much I actually do or don’t shop. I do find a ton of great deals online and even in the store. So if I don’t make any purchases you can see what I thought about purchasing in the past week. Right now I am not going to include my Target Clearance Finds in this post. Now that the clearance is gearing back up again at Target I am hopefully going to have some great finds.

I needed to go to Kohl’s last Sunday because I had a $16 off coupon because I have had a Kohl’s charge for 16 years. (I got one when I first started working there!) It expired and I didn’t want to lose it. It also didn’t hurt that there was the 15%, 20% and 30% discount going on. I had 30% and they were doing an additional 20% off clearance. I was thinking maybe I could find a few items for P for next summer. I definitely did get a great deal.

Kohl’s

I did pretty great finding a few items for P with my $16 coupon, and 30% off. I managed to get these five outfits for only $5 after all the discounts. There were 2 3-piece outfits, 1 dress and 2 rompers.

When I got home I knew I couldn’t get the additional 20% off clearance online but I could get the 30% off. They also had a $10 off $30 purchase of children’s apparel. Not everything qualified. You can see were two of the outfits were not part of it. I have no idea why or I would have broken this up into two purchases for a bigger discount. I bought more outfits for P and did great. Here is a screen shot of what I got. It hasn’t come in the mail yet. I spent $54.82 and managed to get 6 3-piece outfits and 3 Snoopy onesies. When you break that down by piece that is only $2.61 each. Four of the outfits are short sleeve shirts and pants and the other two outfits are short sleeve shirts and shorts.

Children’s Place

I bought more items online for S and found a few for P. I got all of this for just under $88. With the sale prices and an additional 20% I was happy with the total. They added new graphic tees to the $5 promotion. I found a couple of cute ones for S. I got S a winter coat. I have been trying to buy winter coats for S so they will last for two years. I like to get him Columbia 3-in-1 jackets. There sizing of coats run perfect for S and I love the quality. In their coats, he would have been a 6/7 this year. Children’s Place has the option of 5/6 or 7/8. 7/8 is huge on him so that would not work for a winter coat. I found a coat that was on sale and with the additional 20% off it was under $40. Basically a little less than half the cost of a Columbia coat for S. Since this coat will only last a year the price was good. I am going to keep my eyes open and if I find another coat I will return this.

I borrowed some pajamas from my neighbor and love the footless 1-piece jammies Children’s Place makes. They tend to be pricey. The cheapest I have found them is $10.15 each. Way too much for me to pay for one pair of pajamas. I found these two packs on sale and with the additional 20% they work out to be less than $6 a pair. I found the really cute dress which I think will look great with a little pair of capri leggings. I got a headband to match the dress. I’m trying to get her a little more girly.

Did you find any great deals this past week shopping?

Great shopping. We actually dragged the boys to 3 different malls yesterday. LOL we started just looking for N an outfit for picture day this week and of course found that in the first store we went into Crazy8. They had an extra 30% off clearance and then I had a 20% off coupon. We got 2 hoodies, a shirt and short set and a tank for under $20. I was excited. Then however it turned into the hunt for M and I to get new bathing suits. Talk about a mess. I did end up finding a black bottom I liked so I went ahead and picked that up. M found the one he wanted but couldn’t find the size so we ended up going home and ordering it but still a good deal. Then this morning we went to Target and I found two swimtops to go with my new bottoms and they were only $7.48 each. Woohoo I’m set for the end of this season and then next season too hopefully. I’m so rough on suits since I wear them all the time.

Seriously, awesome job on getting the new bathing suits. I don’t even want to think of trying to find a new one, so I don’t. I am still wearing the bathing suits that I did before I had P. Unfortunately they are too big, but I would rather wear the ill fitting bathing suit instead of trying on new ones.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
