Wild Wednesday

Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.

Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:

  • Monday B, S and I went for a bike ride to a local park with a pond that has a ton of ducks.  S and I had gone on Saturday and saw that one of the ducks had laid an egg.  Monday there was no egg in the nest, but there were two in the water by the nest. B said that when an egg goes in the water it kills the duck in the egg.  He also thought that the lady that feeds all of the ducks may throw them in the water to prevent the ducks from multiplying.  B got the eggs out of the water and left them in the grass by the nest.  When we left the pond we went to the playground nearby and found 7 duck eggs in a nest under one of the slides.  How weird is that? I guess the ducks are getting more creative at hiding their eggs.
  • This weekend S was talking about one of our neighbors who is having a baby this summer, and told me the following.

“You can share M’s baby with her and then give it back at the end of the day.”

I asked why and S said, “So you don’t have any more babies.”

This child has stuck to his guns since he was about one and anytime you ask him if mommy and daddy can have another baby S has always said no.

  • B thought he was one of the guys from ‘Ax Men’ and decided to cut a tree down at his dads.  S and I went over to watch and I had to record the whole thing because it was hilarious to watch.  B and his dad were arguing with each other while trying to hang on to the ropes attached to the tree so it doesn’t fall in the neighbor’s backyard and I just watched this tree sway in the wind. Finally B jumped on his four-wheeler and pulled it over because they couldn’t cut it down so it would fall in the right direction.  I was really hoping for that ‘America’s Funniest Videos’ winner, but sadly I did not get it.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
