Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.
Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:
- I love to watch Family Feud and have for as long as I can remember. On Monday I missed the first half of it but did get to see the last 15 minutes. I could not believe who the teams were. It was like TLC day Honey Boo Boo’s family versus The Cake Boss family. Thankfully, Buddy and his sisters won so I didn’t have to watch the answers Honey Boo Boo’s family gave. I did watch again yesterday hoping they would be on again and sadly they were not.
- We had our first snowfall on Monday night and it actually stuck. It was only a dusting but it seems to be the beginning of the winter season.
- Even though we didn’t need anything Kohl’s and Old Navy were having good discounts this week so I had to check out the websites. With 30% off at Kohl’s and 35% off at Old Navy I picked up some shirts for S and me and a few pairs of New Balances for myself. Since tennis shoes are my staple that I wear every day in the winter. I need a new pair or two to go with my yoga pants.
- So many Black Friday Ads came out yesterday. I now have my list for Kohl’s, and Wal-Mart done. I gotta tell you I make list for a bunch of stores and then decide from there if there is anything that we actually need or want. Believe it or not I usually make a trip to Wal-Mart before Black Friday to see if any of the items I want from other stores I can get there and just price match them. I am not overly excited about anything this year and since Wal-Mart starts at 6pm I am not sure if we will even go. Maybe I should rephrase that if I will go. B has gone many times without me. This is the one time that he will shop and I will pass on the opportunity.
