Wild Wednesday

Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.

Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:

  • We finally made it through all of the past week’s fireworks.  We went to 3 different fireworks displays and S loved them all.  The last one we went to, actually had the best fireworks.  Some of their fireworks made shapes like we saw a few hearts, one flower and a few spirals.  Pretty fancy fireworks for a little town.
  • We watched F (S’s cousin) this past week, and she was asking S to teach her what he learned in the swim class he took.  So he is telling her to hold onto his shoulders and kick her feet.  How cute is that and how crazy is that, a three year old teaching a six year old.  Really he wasn’t showing her anything she didn’t already know and he was wearing a life jacket the entire time, but they both totally believed it.
  • S fell asleep last night around 6:30 while watching Keeping Up the Kardashian’s with me and woke up around 10:30 p.m.  I was really hoping he was just going to sleep all night.  At 11 p.m. as I am typing this he is awake and playing.  When I told him it was time to get a shower and go to bed, he said, “No way, you silly!”  Obviously, he has no concept of time and does not plan on going to bed anytime soon.  If only he knew he will be in bed in the next half hour, sleep or not.

  • B has really wanted to get S an F-150 like him so he can drive all over the yard.  With the race car it will not go on the grass and gets stuck the minute it hits grass.  The truck however spins its tires when it is on the driveway, and fishtails all over the place.  That truck can really move all over the grass.   I think it could use some shocks, it does not look like it is a smooth ride.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
