Wild Wednesday

Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.

Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:

  • S refuses to let me cut his hair. I was letting it grow out a little longer on top (Last time the barber practically buzzed him.). I like to have his hair a little thicker on top to help his head so it doesn’t burn. His hair is getting long (for him); I think I could put little barrettes in his hair. Think Macauley Culkin in Home Alone when he wakes up in the morning to discover everyone gone.

  • Derby was doing so well for a while not taking off on us when we left the garage door or gate open. She always used to bolt for the neighbor’s cat bowl, and then stopped this past spring. For whatever reason in the past week she has taken off every opportunity she is given. It is so annoying when we are trying to leave and she takes off. We have to find her before we leave which has caused us to be late. You would think a dog that is 11 years old would be old and not run. Nope I still have a puppy who doesn’t listen. She is my little crazy wild dog.
  • P is nothing like S was when it comes to eating. We could not get S to eat any meat other than bacon until he was like 4. He finally tried crispy chicken (Tyson Chicken Strips) and now will eat that once in a while. P is not even one yet and she eats any meat we put in front of her. She loves pulled pork, turkey meatballs, ground beef, taco meat, ground turkey, and any kind of chicken. I have no idea where this kid got her crazy eating habits, but I love it.

  • We started eating dinners on the back deck on nice nights. So B, S and I sit at the table we set up. No big deal, then you look at P and she is sitting in her high chair on the deck ground. Maybe we should think of putting her high chair on a chair but knowing that crazy girl she will start kicking like crazy and tip herself over while up on the chair. Unfortunately she is right at the dog level, and is now learning to feed the dogs.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
