Troubled Tuesday is basically my complaint day to complain about all the troubles I have, which could range from what is happening on TV shows to who knows what.
- I did this sleep study last night and it did not go well. I could not sleep and kept waking up every hour only to realize I had hours left of sleeping. After 5am I don’t think I slept longer than 15 minutes without waking up. After I got S off to school I took a 3 hour nap and let B watch P.
- I am watching Music City on CMT and I know it is a fake reality show but man this acting is terrible and yet I keep watching it.
- On the TV note I have a few episodes of 90 Day Fiancé to catch up on but I could not wait to watch the first part of the Tell All so I watched all 2 hours of it yesterday. It is a hot mess but I love that they all call Larissa out on all her crap and fakeness. No one can handle how loud she is and it is so much fun to watch.
- P is still refusing to wipe herself after she goes to the bathroom. I wish she would start doing it consistently because she does it at school so why can’t she do it at home? We have been trying to make her do it more and then “check” her. Hopefully she will start doing it on her own sooner rather than later.
- I kind of am giving S a boot camp when it comes to doing his math and reading homework. He has to do 20 minutes of reading and 10 minutes of math basically 4 times a week to meet the goal for the month. I have given him many chances to do it on his own and he is constantly failing. When Christmas break started I took over and have made him read 30 minutes every morning before he is allowed to get on his tablet. Since the New Year I have added math. He now has to do 30 minutes of math a day on top of the reading. The reading has to be done in the morning but the math can be done after he gets home from school. I printed a bunch of worksheets off for him and wrote how many minutes finishing the page would count for. It is much easier than trying to time him when he is doing math because he gets so easily distracted. So far it is working. Maybe this month he will meet his goals?
