Troubled Tuesday is basically my complaint day to complain about all the troubles I have, which could range from what is happening on TV shows to who knows what.
- I cannot believe it has been weeks since I have done one of these. I have to get back on top of it; my Winter Break is also over.
- I was watching Netflix Surviving Escobar but I wanted more background on Pablo Escobar so I switched to Narcos to get the beginning before Popeye went to jail for Escobar. They are both really good shows but it sucks because it is in Spanish so I cannot work while I watch the shows. I have to read the subtitles. I know some Spanish but the dialect for Columbia is different and hard for me to understand. I have learned bad words and the word “boss.” It is not helping me to speak the language any more than I already know. But the shows are good if I can give it my direct attention.
- One of the orders I had from Amazon never got delivered on Christmas Eve like it said. I had another order that did arrive that day. I waited and nothing so I contacted Amazon asking for a replacement. They couldn’t give me a replacement but offered a refund. Well I only paid $1 for it because an item I was going to review. They credited the $1 and gave me an $8.99 promotional credit which they put in the Kindle. I don’t read books with my phone and the Kindle app because I have a Nook. I will but the books I read are not fulfilled by Amazon so the credit is basically useless to me.
- I have been staying up way too late. I started to keep a sleep diary so I can see when I am sleeping and so forth. I swear if I try to read my book during the day I will fall asleep within minutes. If I read it at night I can read for at least a half hour. Every afternoon P has been getting tired so she asks me to lie down with her on the couch. I do but it usually doesn’t last long because I fall asleep and she doesn’t.
