Troubled Tuesday is basically my complaint day to complain about all the troubles I have, which could range from what is happening on TV shows to who knows what.
- Dinky is still not house trained. She is pen and crate trained, but when you let her out of either she will go on the floor. If only we could figure out how to house train her everything would be so much better with her.
- I am still dealing with this cold that I have had for well over a week now. I am constantly coughing. It is just coughing fit after coughing fit. It gets so much worse when I am laying down.
- I think P is starting to give up her naps. Last week she did not take a nap for three days straight. By Friday, she was beyond tired and took over a 3 hour nap. Her naps have shortened to two hours instead of three hours but I am not ready for her to give up naps yet. When she wouldn’t take naps last week I did make her rest in her bedroom for two hours. She could lie in bed or sit and read books as long as she “rested.”
- P and S have some singing Snoopy’s for fall and they were not working. Well I put new batteries in them for the kids and now I wish I didn’t. I forget how loud and obnoxious they can be. At least the kids love them.
- I don’t think P is every going to give up her binkies. We take one step forward and three steps back when it comes to getting rid of the binkies. We got her down to only using them at naptime and bedtime, but in the past week she has been sneaking them more and more. If only I could get her to give them up totally. It is such a comfort tool for her that she needs to find something else before she will give them up.
