Thursday Treats

Thursday Treats is all about the best things I have had happen in the past week as far as good things, good foods, awesome finds at stores, great TV shows, etc.

  • S has started venturing out more when it comes to eating. It is not like he is willing to eat broccoli, but he did try a Shredded BBQ Chicken sandwich last night.  He also was willing to try pretzels dipped in peanut butter.  Just to expand what he eats and give more variety is nice.  He is so much like me.  I have eaten 2 granola bars and 1 Coke for breakfast since P was a baby (the Coke was added when she turned 1).  That is almost 4 years of eating the same thing almost every day.  S does the same thing and eats the same thing for lunch every day at school.
  • I started reading a new author Ellery Adams. She is very good and I cannot put her books down.  The way she writes made quick reading and I have been reading a book in 2 days.  I am skipping TV to read.  That shows how much I like her writing.

  • P is all about singing. In the past few weeks she has really started to come out of her shell and tries to sing any song she hears.  It is so cute and I love every minute of it.  Last week she was watching on the tablet and a song came on a show I was watching.  I looked over at her and she was bopping her head to the beat while watching her video.  Even when she is not paying attention she is still hearing it.

  • Quite a few shows have been finishing there seasons. I questioned How to Get Away with Murder seasons ending.  When I Googled about How to Get Away with Murder and the ending I found out they wrote it this way because the show has not been renewed for another season so they wanted to close a bunch of story lines in case this was the end of the show.  I really like the show but feel it has run its course.

What good things have you been treated to you this week?

Although I do Thursday Treats, it is pretty similar to Jen at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom‘s Thursday Thoughts, so I am linking up with her today.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
