Thursday Treats

Thursday Treats is all about the best things I have had happen in the past week as far as good things, good foods, awesome finds at stores, great TV shows, etc.

  • S slept till 9am yesterday.  It was amazing.  He went to sleep Tuesday night at 9pm and slept for 12 hours.  Unfortunately this happened to be the day that P decided to get up at 6:30am.
  • I love when I take S to swim class and P magically is done swimming after we have been there for 45 minutes when S’s classes are done.  It helps to prevent any meltdowns about leaving.  Now P usually has meltdowns for other reasons but at least it isn’t about leaving the pool.
  • P has been adding more and more words to her vocabulary-Come on, hi, this, and Wa-hoo this week alone.  She has also added please in sign language thanks to her Aunt L teaching her.
  • P loves to swim and loves jumping into the pool.  She has three different ways she will jump in the pool.  If she has her yellow tube on she will jump in on her own and does not want someone to catch her, if she has her life jacket on she will only jump into someone’s arms, and the last way is if she does not have her life jacket or yellow tube she has to hold onto your hand before she will jump.  At least she realizes that she needs something before she can jump in the water.
  • I went to sign S up for another session of swim lessons and his class was full.  I put him on the waiting list and signed him up for dive lessons instead.  I got a call Tuesday morning that said he could be in the swim class if he wanted.  So we switched him from dive lessons to swim lessons.  After this session he gets to move up to the next swim level, guppy.

What good things have you been treated to you this week?

Thursday Thoughts

Although I do Thursday Treats, it is pretty similar to Jen at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom‘s Thursday Thoughts, so I am linking up with her today.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
