Target Valentine’s 90% Clearance Finds

So with B being on strike I really refrained from buying too much.  Let me tell you how much I want to go back to our Target and see if there is anything else.  There always seems to be some odds and ends the next day.  I have stopped myself and only went the one day.  I went to all four Targets but only two of them had the Valentine’s Day stuff at 90%.  I managed to get all of this from two stores for under $10!

At the Perrysburg location I was totally geeked to go and get a ton of the Lego packs.  According to BrickSeek.com there were 36 on hand at my store.  When I got to the store I looked and couldn’t find any.  What?  I watched it all day Thursday and the numbers were continuously being updated so I know there should be that many at the store.  How can I not find one?  I asked a few associates who were redoing the register displays a few days ago where they would be.  There response, they should be right here.  No wait the “hider,” as they call him, was already in that morning and probably bought them all.  When I gave them a funny look they explained that they have one guy who comes in and hides stuff throughout the store for the 90% clearance and then when it goes he walks around the store and gets all the stuff he hid.  The associates said they try to get it all but it doesn’t always work.  They said he had a full cart about 1/2 hour before I got there.  Bummer, but when I thought about it I probably wouldn’t have been able to get them if I was earlier because they would have been hidden.   (Make sense?)

Anyways, enough ranting, here is a breakdown of what I got:

Perrysburg Location

  • Valentine’s Day bib for baby showers-$.59
  • 2 packs of V-day goodie bags for next year-$.30
  • 2 boxes of heart lights (S was most excited about these)-$1.29
  • 2 packs of ring erasers for S’s class treasure chest-$.30
  • Spike balls for S’s class treasure chest-$.30
  • Light-up bouncy ball for S-$.30
  • Heartbreaker onesie for P-$.89

Alexis Rd Location

  • 2 packs of Legos-$.34
  • 3 Spongebob characters-$.29
  • Box of crayons-$.18
  • Lips whistles for S’s classroom treasure chest-$.15
  • Ducks for P (S wanted her to have new ducks)-$.30
  • 2 packs of Easter sprinkles (not part of clearance)-$1

Not a bad little haul.  I would have liked to find more Legos, Spongebob characters, and crayons but like what I got and will add it to my stash for goodie bags.
