Target Toy Clearance Finds Winter 2015-Round 2

Thursday morning the 15th (I know a few weeks late), I bundled up both kids and off we went to check out the other three Targets in our area.  Well we got to the first Target about 11am and they had not marked anything down.  I went through their toys anyways to see if there was anything I even wanted.  I did find a few items but it was not worth waiting around for two things, some Fisher Price princess and Lego Coast Guard ship.  I decided to go and try the next Target.  Well we went to the next Target and again there was not anything marked down and nothing worth sticking around for.  So I went to my second favorite Target (Alexis Rd) and found quite a bit.  I did manage to get this and only spent $39.

  • Can you believe I only bought 3 things and managed to spend $39?  I was only going to get the cheap Let’s Play construction trucks for S to play with in the sandbox.  Since he made it through 3 Targets and 2 Kohl’s I totally think he earned it and for $4.48, why not?  I gave the toys another quick look before I left because they had moved their clearance toys into one aisle.  There were a ton of Legos but at 50% off nothing I was going to buy for gifts and none of it was City (which is what I tend to get for S).  I did find this City Lego and Erector Set that someone put down.  The clearance stickers for the Legos were only 15% off and the Erector Set was ony 30%.  I scanned them and that it came up the sticker price, however since the item has to be scanned into the system before it is marked down I went and found someone on the markdown team.  They scanned both items for me and the Legos were marked down to $22.48 (50% off), and the Erector set was $11.98 (70% off).
