Target 90% Halloween Clearance Finds 2016-Round 1 of 5

So we only have four Targets in our area, but I went back to Target after we got home and P went down for her nap.  I am happy to say we were out of the house by 9am and on our way to Target.  I wanted to leave earlier but the kids got to bed late and while S got up early (6am) P did sleep till 8am.  I found everything I was hoping to get and then some.  I cannot believe that I managed to get all of this and only spent $13.13.

  • S really wanted me to find light for outside for next year.  I didn’t have much hope, but was really happy when I saw these rope lights.  I got them for $2.00 each.  I also got the black gauze with purple lights.  I really didn’t want the gauze but S thought it was cool so we got it for $1.00.  I really wanted the trick or treat banner that lit up to hang in the house and found it under some other boxes and costumes.  It was only $1.20.  It totally pays off digging for gold!

  • S was begging for candy corn so I got a box for $.30.  I found 4 cardboard cats and 1 pack of pumpkins.  I think I am going to try to use them outside next year hanging from the trees or something.  Each pack was only $.10.  I also got some spiderweb plates for $.20 each.  I was hoping to find more of the eyeball ones because they totally don’t look Halloween.  (Truth be told I didn’t even know it was an eyeball.)

  • I found three new books that were $.10 each.  I found two t-shirts for P that were in the girls department so it will be a couple years before she will fit into them.  They were only $.59 each.  I got these tissue paper pom pom decorations that I think I am going to use for P’s birthday this year.  They were $.30 for each pack.

  • I found a few things that were Fall/Thanksgiving themed.  The banner was only $1.00.  It falls under the Halloween theme but somehow got pictured with the other stuff.  I got a “Friendsgiving” banner to hang after Halloween, and this cute little bird.  It was $.50.  I really wanted to find more of them, but wasn’t so lucky.  I only picked up one pack of the lawn/leaf bags.  They were $.39.

That is it.  This is what I found at the first store.  Onto Home Depot for a helicopter build and then to the next Target!
