After finding the fidget spinners at the other stores I wanted to go back to my Target (Perrysburg) to check because I didn’t earlier. This time it was all about taking my time and really scoping out the corners of the store that I didn’t look. Sadly I couldn’t find any EOS sets, and all the beauty products were still 50%. I did have some great finds and spent $30.
- I finally got something for myself. I found 3 shirts. They were $1.49-$1.69. P got a blinking light necklace for $.30, hidden by the corner of the shirt is a Paw Patrol bath tub squirter for $.39, another flexible lego strand for $.49, a pair of rubber ducks for $.29 and the Christmas version of Spot it for $.49
- I hit the mother load of fidget spinners and now I have enough for goody bags and then some. I got 16 of them for $.68 each.
- I found The Christmas Carol book for $.50, 5 sets of letters for $.10, wooden hearts for $.30, the desert platter for $.50 (it would have been perfect for P’s Frozen party last year), and a science project to grow snow for $.30.
- I thought I would double check the regular aisles to see if any blankets or pillows got put back. I found these 3 large pillow that no one had touched yet! Again I am guessing because the price tags were inside the zipper. They were each $2.99 and now we have nice pillows that we can wash the covers. I guess the pillow lady didn’t find all the pillows!
That’s it I am done with Target 90% clearance shopping. I may venture out for Meijer clearance shopping next week but it won’t be even this big of a haul. I tried to return a few items I bought today with my first receipt. I bought one shirt in the same size twice and some others stuff I decided not to keep. Actually I tried to do it at two different Targets and they told me that I can’t return items on the same day I bought them? I am guessing that is to help with theft, but maybe because it was clearance? I guess I will have to go back tomorrow and return the stuff. If I should walk around the store afterward to see if I can find anything that would be okay.
