Target 70% Christmas Clearance 2018 Finds

I did a little investigating last night to see what exactly our Target store had left, so I knew two things.  One if it went 70% off and to see if it was worth my time to go at 70%.  At this point the only thing I wanted at 70% off was pajamas for the kids.  I was also hoping to find a Lipsmacker set for P.  It is going to be for her advent calendar for next year.

Store 1-Perrysburg

I went straight to the pajamas this morning and was happy to see that the store did finally go down to 70%.  The only problem I had was not everything went down to 70%.  Some stayed at 30% (beauty sets, some blankets), and some at 50% (books, some pajamas).

  • I found two pairs of pajamas for S.  The Elf on the Shelf pajamas were $5.09, and the Snow Ball pajamas were only $2.99.  If I find more of the Snow Ball pajamas when they are 90% I am buying every pair for S.  Who cares if he has multiple sets.  It will make it easier to match them when I am folding laundry.  The funny thing is the pajamas that had Christmas lights on them and were clearly Christmas were not even on clearance.
  • I got S the 12 Days of Socks Disney Princesses for next year.  They were $4.50.  I don’t think they will make it to 90%.  We only had a few boxes at our store.
  • I found P Shopkins pajamas that were a 2-set for $5.99, and the Troll and Peanuts sets for $5.09 each.  P really wants nightgowns so I am giving in and buying them for her in the next sizes.  The Frosty the Snowman and Hello Kitty nightgowns for $4.49 each.  The Frosty and Rudolph pajamas were $5.09 each.
  • I also got a metal sign that was only $.90.

In total I spent $52.10 with tax.  I used gift cards so it didn’t cost me anything out of pocket.

Store 2-Alexis Rd

I saw on Brickseek.com that this store went 70% yesterday so I wanted to check to see what they had left also knowing that they would probably go 90% on Sunday.  I said to myself if I could find the Lipsmacker set at the Perrysburg store then I wasn’t going today.  I am sure they are around somewhere, but I cannot find them anywhere.  If they are not in the backroom, then someone has them hidden pretty well and a lot of them hidden.  I did check to see what toothbrushes and body wash sets were at Perrysburg so I wanted to also make sure I checked here.

  • The sets were only 50% off so I got one electric brush for S at $2.49.  If they go 70% tomorrow I will get the rest for $1.50.  It is a really good price and I don’t want to come back again if they finally go to 90%.  I finally found a Lipsmacker set and snagged it.  It was $14.  That is still a great deal at less than a dollar a piece.  Of course if I can find more at a cheaper price I will get it and return this one.
  • I found three more nightgowns for P.  They are all the size she will need next year and were $4.49 each.  I also found a Wreck-It Ralph pajamas set with hearts on it that will be nice for Valentine’s Day for $5.09.  Nothing about it says Christmas but it was part of the clearance.

At this store I spent a total of $37.59 with tax, and again used gift cards so it didn’t cost me a cent.

I know you can’t get price adjustments on clearance so what I do when I only buy something at 70% off that I really want.  If I can find it again at 90% I will rebuy it and return the one I bought for 70% off.  So it will be one store tomorrow and then probably the other 3 on Monday or Tuesday.  P is going to be tagging along with me, so we will see how long she lasts.
