I am always on the hunt for cute dresses and now that department stores are going out of business it is getting harder. I struggle to find dresses on Amazon because the sizing always seems to be so off. I have gotten quite a few dresses from Sviuse and have found that I am usually an XL in dresses. When I find dresses in department stores I wear a medium but have realized I need to order 1-2 sizes bigger on Amazon.
I wasn’t exactly sure what kind of material this dress was going to be. I didn’t know if it would have stretch to it or be structured. The dress was a sweater material so it had some stretch, but is definitely a winter dress. I ordered a large in the red and an x-large in the black. I thought the red dress fit well and was happy with the fit. Then I tried on the black dress and realized it was a much better fit and comfier. The top half of the dress fit okay but cut off oddly below the chest. From the chest up it is just a basic dress (which I like). I did not like the bottom half of the dress. The ruffles were kind of weird. It cut off at a weird spot on my thighs. If the bottom had just been one piece I think I might have really liked it.
