When I make baby food/smoothies I steam all the fruits and veggies before I puree them.  I have gone through my share of steamers in the past 5 years of doing this.  When I ordered this steamer I knew exactly what I was getting.

When I checked out the Sunsella Stainless Steel Vegetable Steamer I saw that the prongs on the bottom did not have a plastic coating and would scratch all of the non-stick coating off of my pots.  I couldn’t take that chance and did not use it.

The petals moved nicely to fit almost any pot.  There is a circle hook in the middle to pull the steamer out.  I would have liked if that extended because I wouldn’t want to stick my hand inside the steamed food to pull the steamer out.
