Shhh! It’s Sunday

I want to tell you what we are doing right at the moment that I take the picture, whether it is at 1am or 1pm on Sunday.  Just a quick snapshot into a day in our lives.

Currently….

It is 7:50pm

S and P were playing with Lego Duplos. I think it is hysterical that they play with them all the time since we brought them upstairs when the electricity went out a few weeks ago. Of course, there was bickering and raised voices.

B was doing something in the kitchen. I wasn’t really paying attention.

I was playing Wordscape on my phone. Yup I was playing a video game but made my kids play with real toys.

Here is a small snip-it of a conversation they had playing:

Sawyer said, “Can I have that piece?”

Piper replied, “If you say please.”

Sawyer’s response, “Please, can I have that piece.”

Piper said, “Say, pretty, pretty please.” (In a very high falsetto voice.)

Sawyer said, “Pretty, pretty please can I have that piece.” (In a high falsetto voice.)

Piper’s response, “Nope.”

After P making S jump through hoops to get a Lego piece she still said no. She just eggs him on. I repeated the conversation to B. P says right away, “I hear you making fun of me.” This girl has so much attitude for only being 4 ½ years old. What are we going to do with her when she is 13? Her new response when we tell her to be nice or not destroy her brother’s things is, “I can’t help it, I’m a monster.” At least she owns it.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
