Senmar Mermaid Tail Blanket Review

Of course, mermaids are more popular than ever.  P got a mermaid skirt for her birthday last year and loves to dress-up in it and then got a mermaid tail blanket from her cousin for Christmas.  One day my feet were cold so I decided to use her mermaid tail myself.  It was definitely too small (kid size) and when given the opportunity to review a mermaid tail blanket for myself I jumped at the chance.  The Senmar Mermaid Tail Blanket is crocheted and super soft.  I liked the idea of this kind of blanket to use for the summer.  I am always cold so I use blankets year round.  With it being crocheted it gives room to breathe unlike a fleece material.  The color was a blue/green/purple marble.

The blanket came vac sealed so the kids thought it was really neat when I cut the packaging and the tail started to grow.

It was short lived but when P saw what it was she jumped right in it and kept pretending to swim like a mermaid.  I thought this was going to be for me, but it looks like I will be sharing it.  I have already washed it and had no issues.  I love that the detail is so unique.  You can see what looks like scales in the pattern.
