NatureBox Sample Review

NatureBox was offering free samples on their Facebook account.  I gladly signed up for a free sample from my Facebook account and then did the same with B’s Facebook account.

NatureBox helps you eat healthier without needing to change your eating habits. They focus on snacks because that’s the easiest habit to change. Do you know that the average American eats almost 25% of their calories from snacking? In fact, snacking is the leading cause of childhood obesity. NatureBox helps  get more out of your day without wasting calories on the bad stuff.

When I got the packages in the mail I was surprised on how big they were because I thought they would be samples, not full size snacks.  Here is the information card that was included in the package.

Here are the two snack samples I selected:

Mango Almond Bites (4 oz.)-Island mangoes, tropical pineapple, and crispy rice form the perfect snack that’s easy to portion into baggies. I tried this and it was okay.  It was kind of like eating a granola, rice cake mixture with a little sweetness mixed in because of the mango bites.  I thought they were okay, B was indifferent, but my neighbor is a health nut and she loved them.  I sent her home with the package and I don’t think she made it home before she ate them all.

Salsa Spiced Nut Mix (4 oz)- Who says mixed nuts can only be served salted? Flavored with garlic, onion, cilantro and lime juice, this almond-cashew mix will have your taste buds cheering, “¡Ole!”  I am not a fan of spicy anything.  I tried this and was not a fan.  It definitely had some heat to it.  B tried it and liked it.  My neighbor tried it and she also agreed that it was good.  B has these packed and ready to take to work next week.

While these samples were fun to try, I do not see myself ordering this subscription box for myself.  These are just not the kind of snacks that would interest me enough to try them.  If you are interested in learning more about NatureBox click here.  You can sign up and save $10 by using the code SHARE10 for a discount off your first NatureBox.
