Mom’s Meet SweetLeaf Water Drops Review

I applied through Mom’s Ambassador to try this product and review it on my blog. I was so happy to be selected to review SweetLeaf Water Drops. At first when I got it in the mail I was slightly confused. I never received an email saying I was approved to review the product or anything for that matter. I hung on to the Water Drops to wait and see if I got some kind of communication. This was back at the beginning of July. I finally received an email last week saying this review was due. I tried the Water Drops a while ago and am just now getting a chance to write the review.

I love drinking water. I have never needed it flavored for me to enjoy it. I was talking to my sister and realized all I drink is water. I gave up dairy after P was born and never really went back to drinking milk. My body can no longer tolerate milk. Once in a while I will drink a can of Coke, but that is it. I am pretty boring when it comes to what I drink. When I got the Water Drops in the mail I was excited to try and dress-up my water.

S was all about trying this with me. He is not the biggest water drinker. He has gotten better recently but prefers his chocolate milk to anything else. If he was willing to try flavored water, I was willing to let him. We started with the Raspberry Lemonade. It was okay but really had an iced tea after taste to it. S smelled the Lemon Lime and said, “No thank you.” We passed on the Lemon Lime and moved onto the Peach Mango. We both liked the Peach Mango flavor and actually went back for a second drink. The last flavor was Strawberry Kiwi. It was entirely too sweet for me. If I didn’t know better I would say there was a ton of sweetener mixed in this glass of water. There wasn’t. Just one small squeeze of the flavoring was added. S said it was okay. As I was putting the bottles away, S said he did not like the long-term taste that was left in his mouth.

I was excited to get a new cookbook. I love to bake and anytime I can find new desserts to make I am all about it. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of Stevia. I just don’t like the taste. If I bake with it, mix it in a drink, etc., I can never get past the taste/aftertaste. My mom will appreciate the cookbook because she is all about cooking with Stevia.
