I could not believe how much was sent to me to try.  There were protein bars, paleo bars, protein powder mix, Elisabeth Hasselbeck book “The G Free Diet,” and a t-shirt.

I could not believe the amount of protein bars that were sent.  They sent me seven boxes of protein bars.  I tried at least a bite of each type of bar.  My favorite by far was the Cookies ‘n’ Crème.  It tasted like I was eating candy.  I really loved it.

I was most excited about the three boxes of paleo bars that NoGii sent me.  I have heard so much about the paleo diet and thought this could give me a sample of how that diet tastes.  Well, the paleo diet is not for me.  I did not like these bars at all.

I didn’t try the drink mix but passed it along to a friend who was more than happy to use it.  He had nothing but great things to say about the taste.  He said it tasted like a great vanilla milkshake.

I read the book, but was not sure about the whole gluten-free diet.  While I admire the dedication of those who stick with a gluten-free diet, I somehow don’t think I would make it for a week I don’t think I could stay with the change.  I just cannot picture me giving up oats. I love granola bars!
