When S was teething I loved using the mesh bags to put frozen fruit in and let him gnaw away at it.  He could make the biggest messes but I never had to worry about him choking on the fruits.  It also let him experience many different kinds of fruits.  It was a great way to try pineapple without getting all the pulp.

As S grew out of this stage and started to eat fruit regular I wanted something that I could use that would be less messy.  He got to taste the fruit, but it also made him one heck of a sticky mess.  With P I was hoping to find something that would let her taste all the different fruits, soothe her sore gums, and not make her a sticky mess.

The Maxx Elite “MaxxFlo” Nutritional Feeder seemed to be the solution.  I let P use it and she liked getting the juices and mashed fruit from the holes as she gnawed away on the silicone teether.  P really enjoyed using it.  The only con I could find was it taught her to chew on her binkies and bottle nipples.  Before I gave P the MaxxFlo she never really would sit there and gnaw on binkies.  Afterward she would chew on the binkies hoping to get fruit out of them.  It really caused confusion for P so I stopped using the MaxxFlo.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
