Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
Monday-As long as I have not gone into labor yet, I have my annual eye doctor appointment and then plan on coming home to take a nap because they are dilating my eyes. B and S are hopefully going to be assembling S’s loft bed.
Tuesday-We are just going to be hanging out at home getting ready for the baby. If all the furniture is complete and assembled in the bedrooms B may start on S’s playground. It has been a two or three year project in the making. B has had all of the stuff to make it, just never had the time or plans of how he wants to build it.
Wednesday-Hanging out at home. I imaging we will be playing outside most of the day.
Thursday-I have my 38 week check-up at the Docs. I am not sure what is going to happen since the baby is breech again. I don’t know if she is going to try and turn her or send me somewhere for someone else to try and turn her. We are getting our new cable installed, so B is staying home while they do that. I am thinking I will be spending the rest of the day in bed if they try and turn her otherwise we will just be hanging out at home.
Friday-We are hanging out at home. B is really hoping I will be in labor by now so he doesn’t have to go back to work tonight. It is a wait and see game. We won’t know until Friday unless I already had the baby.
Saturday-We have a wedding to attend. If I am still pregnant it will not be an issue, if I already had the baby, I have no idea if we will go.
Sunday-So far no plans just hanging out at home praying that I already had the baby or go into labor.
Last Week Recap
Monday and Tuesday we hung out at home and just played. Wednesday I had my weekly check-up with the doctor, and then we hung out at home the rest of the day playing inside and outside.
Thursday it was really hot outside so for most of the afternoon S played outside in the sprinkler. He had a blast. When B got home we went down to the Farmer’s Market to get plants for the garden and flowers for the Grandmas for Mother’s Day. We ended the trip to the Farmer’s Market with a stop for some froyo. OMG they had Yellow Cake Batter flavor and it was so good. It tasted like I was eating raw cake batter.
Friday we all got early to go my ultrasound. I gave S the option we could go out for breakfast or go to his cousins field day after the ultrasound. He opted for field day so we went to that and watched them do their activities. When we got home we got out the Chalk Paint for S. He loved being able to paint the sidewalk in the backyard. Even B got into it and started painting. I just supervised. The weather was questionable if it was going to rain or not rain the rest of the day so we hung out at home playing. (It never did rain at our house until after S went to bed.)
Saturday S and B went to a build in the morning at Lowe’s and then another day of us just hanging out at home. The weather was so nice that I did not complain about hanging out in the backyard. S played with his water table and Baby A came over to play. They had so much fun playing together.
Sunday we hung out at home while B worked on finishing S’s furniture so the baby can get S’s current dresser. I managed to walk over to B’s parents so S could give his Mother’s Day gift. B was just as surprised as me that I managed to walk the whole way. It’s less than a mile probably closer to a ½ mile, but that is a big win for me. I was hoping to walk this baby out of me, but no luck.
Last Week
Monday-Today we are going to be hanging out at home. Hopefully we can get a hospital bag packed for me and a bag for S.
Tuesday-Today we are just hanging out at home.
Wednesday-I have my 37 week check-up in the morning and then S and I will just hang out the rest of the day.
Thursday-It is supposed to be over 80° today so we will be hanging outside and I think I may even get the sprinkler or baby pool out for S to play in. Today is the first Farmer’s market uptown so we are going to head up there when B gets home from work.
Friday-S’s cousins have field day at school today. We have gone the past 2-3 years and plan on going this year. S loves to go and cheer on his cousins. Let’s hope the rain holds out.
Saturday-S has a build at Lowe’s in the morning making a flower delivery truck. We have a birthday party we are supposed to go to, but it really will all depend on how I feel and if I have had the baby yet.
Sunday-Today is Mother’s Day. There are no plans but to hang out at home.
