Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
Monday-Today we are going to be hanging out at home. Hopefully we can get a hospital bag packed for me and a bag for S.
Tuesday-Today we are just hanging out at home.
Wednesday-I have my 37 week check-up in the morning and then S and I will just hang out the rest of the day.
Thursday-It is supposed to be over 80° today so we will be hanging outside and I think I may even get the sprinkler or baby pool out for S to play in. Today is the first Farmer’s market uptown so we are going to head up there when B gets home from work.
Friday-S’s cousins have field day at school today. We have gone the past 2-3 years and plan on going this year. S loves to go and cheer on his cousins. Let’s hope the rain holds out.
Saturday-S has a build at Lowe’s in the morning making a flower delivery truck. We have a birthday party we are supposed to go to, but it really will all depend on how I feel and if I have had the baby yet.

Sunday-Today is Mother’s Day. There are no plans but to hang out at home.
Last Week Recap
Monday we hung out at home. Tuesday was so nice S got to wear shorts and play outside. He had a ball going down his temporary slide.
Wednesday we played outside and S decided to try and fly his Toy Story kite. Well we did and don’t you know when I was winding up the string to bring the kite down it slipped from my hands and took off. S and I chased it until it got caught in some tree branches and just flew up in the sky on its own. He got tired of standing and watching the kite so he lied down on the grass and watched.
Thursday we spent most of the day inside. I taught S how to play Crazy 8’s. He is so good at playing Uno Moo that I figured he could master Crazy 8’s and I was right. This has been our new favorite game to play and let me tell you we play it a ton.
Friday we just hung out at home.
Saturday S and B went to the Home Depot build while I went to a wedding shower. After I left the shower I gave B a call to see how they were doing down at Toledo Train Day. They were already on their way home. I took a much needed nap and when I woke up B had set the trampoline up for S. We spent the rest of the evening with S jumping on the trampoline and flying his kite.
Sunday S and B went to the fish store to return the frog that didn’t even make it 24 hours (I’ll explain in Troubled Tuesday) and exchange it for something else. We got ready and went to S’s cousins First Communion and then on to their house to celebrate. S has so much fun playing with his cousins. He says his cousin L is his favorite and could not wait to play with him.
Last Week
Monday-B is off and no plans for the day. Just how I like it. We thought about canoeing down the Maumee River, but the weather is not going to cooperate and it looks like rain for most of the day.
Tuesday-No plans for today, just hanging out around home. If it doesn’t rain I am sure we will be spending time outside.
Wednesday-Another day of rain forecasted so we are hanging out at home either inside or outside.
Thursday-I go for my 36 week check-up appt. and could not be more excited. I am so ready to have this done.
Friday-B is off and as of now we have no plans but to hang out at home.
Saturday-B and S have a build at Home Depot and I am headed to a wedding shower in the morning. I like late morning showers because it doesn’t kill the whole day.
Sunday-S’s cousin is having her first communion so we will be going to that and then to their house afterwards.
