Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. It doesn’t look like it is going to be a busy week for S and me. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
Monday-We do not have any plans for today. We are supposed to get more SNOW! If it is not too cold out, I may take S outside to burn some of that energy.
Tuesday-If Target Valentine’s day stuff goes 70%, I may have to make a run to see if I can find any Legos, Barbie’s, etc.
Wednesday-S is having a make-up storytime at the library because it was cancelled a few weeks ago due to the weather.
Thursday-S has zoo school in the morning. B is taking him, so I may make a run to Target while they are gone for my weekly trip.
Friday-As of now we have no plans, but who knows.
Saturday-S has a build at Lowe’s and is going to make a claw machine. He is going to love this.
Sunday-No plans for today, but hanging out at home.
Last Week Recap
Monday and Tuesday we just hung out at home. We did get some great packages in the mail which I have yet to review all of them. I also got my House Party Kit for the Joanne Fluke party I got selected for. I was so happy to get it and start reading her new book before it is even released.
Wednesday S and I went to zoo school and S loved getting his Valentine’s from Miss Martha. After storytime we went to Kohl’s and found a ton of clothes for S. The rest of the day we hung out at home.
Thursday I took S to zoo school and then we went to Target for a quick trip. Sadly, I could not find the Lemon Oreo’s that I was looking for. After Target we drove around until S fell asleep. He took a much needed nap and was so much happier when he woke up a couple of hours later. We ended the day by playing outside in the snow and making snowmen.
Friday even though it was Valentine’s Day we did not do a whole lot. S ran some errands with B while I went and got another ultrasound (still a girl). We picked up our new bedroom furniture and thankfully S took a much needed nap because he got up early. F came over and played with S for a while. They are just so happy to see each other.
Saturday we did a whole lot of nothing. We hung out at home. My niece came over and played with S. That is a whole other story for Troubled Tuesday. We added our feather bed back to our bed and it made the bed so tall I had to use stairs to climb up on it.
Sunday we hung out at home all day. We took the box spring off our bed to lower it and now it feels like it is too low. Too low is better than too high. S played outside while B shoveled the driveway, then S and I decorated Valentine’s Day cookies. A few days late, but they still taste the same. Later S and I worked on organizing all of our sprinkles for each holiday. (Separate post coming with more details.)
Last Week
Monday-S and I are just hanging out at home today. We do not have any plans to do anything. I think it is going to be too cold to go outside, but we will wait and see.
Tuesday-It is going to be frigid out and if school is cancelled we are going to head over to my mom’s so S can play with F. They talked on the phone Sunday and both said how much they missed each other. When I told S we could see F on Tuesday he told F to make sure she was still really excited to see him. It was so cute. If S has school we will try to go over later after F is out of school.
Wednesday-S has preschool storytime this morning and then we are just hanging out at home the rest of the day. It is still supposed to be pretty cold.
Thursday-Since B is working, I am taking S to zoo school. S loves zoo school and B already checked it out and there will not be any snakes this week. Woohoo!
Friday-I am going for another ultrasound today and then we are planning on picking up our new bedroom furniture.
Saturday-B is off and plans on working on S’s bed and furniture. I am hoping he puts our new bedroom set together so I can rearrange furniture and clothes.
Sunday-I think we are just going to hang out at home while B works on S’s furniture.
