Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

Starting 09/23/19

This Week

Monday-P and I are going to take all the school supplies we are donating to the school and dropping them off in the morning before school starts. The rest of the day we are just going to hang out at home until she goes to school. After school we don’t have any plans, so homework and playing outside are what I am thinking.

Tuesday-I am watching my niece during the day. B and I have a meeting at the school after dinner for P.

Wednesday-P has soccer after dinner.

Thursday-I am cleaning the gym after I get P on the bus for school.

Friday-As of now no plans other than school during the day.

Saturday-P has a game in the morning. We are going to take the kids to the Hot Air Balloon festival in the evening.

Sunday-B’s work is having a family event. So, if it isn’t too hot, we will go to that.

Last Week Recap

Monday S and I worked on homework before school for an hour (he magically forgot he had homework till Monday morning). It was a struggle which resulted in me emailing his teacher to set up a meeting. After school we hung out at home.

Tuesday we had a meeting with S’s teacher in the morning before school. He is struggling with getting work done in class so I wanted to meet with her and try to figure it out. He seems to be his own worst enemy because he comes home with all of this homework and actually it was never assigned as homework. He wants to get it done as fast as some of the other kids so he brings it home because he works much slower than others.

Wednesday I ran to Target to look around after P went to school, came home to clean the pool, and then spent the next hour and half floating around in the pool reading until the kids came home. The kids swam after school with there friends. P and I went to her soccer practice after dinner.

Thursday I cleaned the gym after P went to school. The kids swam after they got home from school for a while and we called it an early night. They were both super tired and needed chill time.

Friday P and I ran to Walmart after we did crossing guard duty with S in the morning. We did Pizza Friday for dinner. Basically, it is pizza for dinner and swimming until it is time for bed. The kid’s friends came over and ended the night swimming in the dark (which they love).

Saturday we went to the Harrison Rally day parade in the morning. Hung out at home for a while before I took P to her soccer game. In the evening, we had friends over and hung out.

Sunday we took a walk/bike ride. The kids rode bikes while B and I walked the dog. We hung out at home the rest of the day. I went through all the school supplies I bought and figured out what I was keeping (for the kid’s school supplies for the next few years) and what I was donating to S and P’s school. I ended up with 4 boxes of supplies that went to the school.

Last Week

Starting 09/16/2019

I haven’t done one of these posts in a month. So much has happened, school started, we went on another small vacation, P can now ride a 2-wheeler, and more.

This Week-I am going to work out every day, and maybe skip Saturday (it is Harrison Rally Day.).

Monday-No plans so the kids were already taking about swimming when they get home from school.

Tuesday-Another day of no plans after school. With S not having catechism anymore (They decided to make it home school only and he didn’t want to do that. He really liked going to the classes every week.), stopping piano lessons and not doing soccer school nights have really slowed down. At least it gives him more time to do homework and not be pressed for time to get it done.

Wednesday-P has soccer practice after school.

Thursday-We have no plans after school. B will probably run up to the farmer’s market, but that is it.

Friday-No plans after school, but the library usually does some things for Harrison Rally Day so we may go check that out.

Saturday-It is Harrison Rally Day, so there will be a parade in the morning. P has a soccer game in the afternoon and then we may try to get together with some friends.

Sunday-As of now we don’t have any plans so either just hang out at home or try to take the kids to Cedar Point. Just depends on the weather.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
