Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

I haven’t done one of these posts in a month. So much has happened, school started, we went on another small vacation, P can now ride a 2-wheeler, and more.

This Week-I am going to workout every day, and maybe skip Saturday (it is Harrison Rally Day.).

Monday-No plans so the kids were already taking about swimming when they get home from school.

Tuesday-Another day of no plans after school. With S not having catechism anymore (They decided to make it home school only and he didn’t want to do that. He really liked going to the classes every week.), stopping piano lessons and not doing soccer school nights have really slowed down. At least it gives him more time to do homework and not be pressed for time to get it done.

Wednesday-P has soccer practice after school.

Thursday-We have no plans after school. B will probably run up to the farmer’s market, but that is it.

Friday-No plans after school, but the library usually does some things for Harrison Rally Day so we may go check that out.

Saturday-It is Harrison Rally Day, so there will be a parade in the morning. P has a soccer game in the afternoon and then we may try to get together with some friends.

Sunday-As of now we don’t have any plans so either just hang out at home or try to take the kids to Cedar Point. Just depends on the weather.

Last Week Recap

Monday I went to three Walgreens to check and see what summer clearance they still had so I knew where to go first on Tuesday morning. My sister went to two Walgreens for me. I did one side of town and she did the other. B had to work in the afternoon so the kids and I hung out at home.

Tuesday was my birthday. I got up in the morning and worked out. B had taken donuts to the gym to surprise me with (they were already at the gym when I got there). I saw on Instagram that a lot of the Walgreens did not go 90% so I decided to go to the Perrysburg one and check. When the doors opened, I went in and checked. Unfortunately, it did not go 90% so I decided to go to Target and see what they had. Some of the school supplies went 90% off so I got a bunch of stuff for S’s teachers. I had a doctor appointment in the afternoon. When I got home, I just chilled out the rest of the night.

Wednesday I didn’t got workout. After S was ready for school, I went to 5 different Walgreens and found a bunch of stuff 90% off. I bought a ton, and believe it or not I refrained from buying everything. I did find more school supplies at 90% that I got for the kids and S’s teachers. When I got home, I got P ready for school and then took pictures of what I bought while we waited for the bus to pick P up. B and I got all the summer stuff put away, and the rest was taken inside. When S and P got home from school, they wanted to go to Ohio Skate for there school night. I told them we could go for a short time because P had her first soccer practice. The kids both had fun skating. We dropped S off at home and went to her practice. She had so much fun at her practice and is the only girl on her team. When we got home, S was swimming with his friends so P joined in and swam, too.

Thursday I hung out at home with P in the morning. When her and S got home from school, we went walking looking for houses on the architectural scavenger hunt. P rode her bike and S took his scooter. I was able to find quite a few of the houses which made me happy. We walked/rode for over 2 hours before we called it a night and went home for dinner. After I got them set up with dinner, I picked the garden because there were so many tomatoes ready.

Friday P and I hung out at home in the morning before she went to school. After school they swam for about a half hour before the rain came. After the rain and dinner, they went back outside swimming and S’s friends and our neighbors came over to swim together. They got to swim until about 8:30pm. They loved that it was dark enough to turn on the pool light. The kids loved watching it turn colors and would only jump in when the water turned a certain color.

Saturday P had her first soccer game of the season. Well she was supposed to. They redid the schedule and our coached missed the email so the entire team missed the game, but the kids didn’t realize it and scrimmaged each other. Afterward we went home and hung out. I worked on playing bills and the kids asked if they could chill and watch their tablets.

Sunday I walked around and was able to finish the architectural scavenger hunt. PJ and I walked about 2 miles today. It sprinkled while we walked and then stopped when I got home. B and the kids went to Bug Fest. It is not to look at bugs, but to look at old Volkswagen cars. It was overcast most of the day and did not get as warm as they said. It stayed in the 70s but was humid. The rest of the day we hung out at home.

Last Week

Monday-After I put P on the bus I plan to run to a few Walgreens and see what summer clearance they have so I know what stores to go to and what ones to skip.

Tuesday-It is my birthday. Walgreen summer clearance is supposed to go 90% off so I am going to run to a few after working out in the morning. I have a doctor appointment in the afternoon. It is going to be 90° so I figure the kids will go swimming when they get home from school.

Wednesday-the kids want to go skating after school at Ohio Skate for a school fundraiser. They both love roller skating. Afterward P has her first soccer practice.

Thursday-I am cleaning the gym after P gets on the bus. Nothing going on after school.

Friday-S and I have crossing guard duty in the morning before school. Afterward P and I are just hanging out at home until she goes to school. No plans for after school.

Saturday-P has her first soccer game and team pictures. The rest of the day we are going to hang out at home.

Sunday-B is going to Bug Fest (for Volkswagen, not real bugs.). I will take my long walk in the morning with PJ. No plans for the rest of the day.
