Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

I took last week off from working out but this week I am back at it again. While I didn’t go to the gym I did walk almost every day with PJ.

This Week-It looks like it is going to be a pretty quiet week around here with just a bunch of swimming and hanging out at home.

Monday-I a watching L in the morning for a bit. Not much else going on during the day. We have the demolition derby at night. The kids are super excited about it.

Tuesday-It’s going to be hot one, so I see us swimming and hanging out at home.

Wednesday-Another repeat of yesterday.

Thursday-Another day of being at home and hanging out.

Friday-B goes back to work after having almost 3 weeks off. We are just going to be hanging out at home.

Saturday-No plans for the weekend, just hanging out at home.

Sunday-Same as the day before.

Last Week Recap

Monday I had minor outpatient surgery. No big deal just needed to take it easy for the week. I don’t know how well I listened because I went down the fair to see the 4-H parade S was in. The kids walked around looking at all the animals after the parade.

Tuesday we drove up to the cottage my grandparents built. I like to take the kids up there once a year just to see it, walk in the water, and play. A little nostalgia for me. This year B made a minnow net similar to what we had as kids. The kids got to try it and catch minnows. P had to wear her princess glove so she didn’t have to touch the minnows (I did this as a kid, too. Old prom/homecoming gloves from my mom.) After we came home the kids just played outside.

Wednesday we really didn’t do much and just hung out at home.

Thursday I cleaned the gym while B took the kids down to the fair. S had to work at the 4-H shake booth. I got laundry folded while they were gone. The kids played outside after dinner and then we went to P’s “Under the Light’s” game that was rescheduled from Monday night. P fielded two balls and had nice hits. We have found she bats much better left handed even though she is right handed.

Friday we ended up staying home in the morning.   The kids and I took the pets to the vets for there yearly check-ups.  After dinner we went to the last First Friday of the summer. P and I watched as May did the 43551 run. First Friday was pretty boring, so I bribed the kids with coming home and doing a “late night” swim. They swam till about 9:15ish and were DONE.

Saturday the kids went to a Home Depot build in the morning.   I stayed home and worked on Little B’s smash cake. I had to bake it and decorate it. I also made a peach pie for B. In the afternoon we went to Little B’s birthday party.

Sunday we just hung out at home. I promised P she could get her bounce house out and play. After she was a little sweat ball she went swimming with A. I watched and typed this up while they were swimming.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
