Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

We have a super-busy week and are going to be on the move. I am still working out every morning. I am going to try to stick with it.

This Week

Monday-P has tee ball in the morning. It is going to be in the 90s so we will either be hiding in the house or out in the pool. S has piano lessons in the afternoon. The rest of the day we are just hanging out at home.

Tuesday-P has Make-n-Take in the morning. I will probably hang out at the park while they are doing there crafts. It is going to be another hot day so we are going to keep it low key. S has a late night game under the lights. It is going to be the first of three late nights in a row.

Wednesday-After I am done working out in the morning I am going to rope off an area for the fireworks. We go up early every year to do this and it really has worked out well. We don’t have to go to up nearly as early. S has Coding for Computers in the afternoon. The rest of the day we are just going to hang out at home waiting to go to the fireworks. I love them and the kids both do too.

Thursday-There is one exercise class in the morning instead of 3, so I am going to try and go. It will all depend on how late last night was and if I can get up. We are going to the fireworks in Waterville. We will meet my uncle like we have for the past 4 years to watch together. The kids love doing this and are hoping to catch lightning bugs waiting for the fireworks to start.

Friday-B is off. P has Make-n-Take in the morning and Soccer Basics right afterward. If she can tolerate the heat she plans on doing soccer. The rest of the day we are just hanging out at home.

Saturday-The kids have a build at Home Depot in the morning. The rest of the day we are hanging out at home.

Sunday-It looks like we are finally supposed to get a break in the weather and it is going to cool down. It is predicted to only be in the low 80s. We are going to hang out at home.

Last Week Recap

Monday P had tee ball in the morning. B got the new car which is orange and the kids did not care for the color. It has since grown on them. S had piano lessons in the afternoon and a game in the evening. The plan was I would leave early from the game to come home and grab my stuff because I had to do a sleep study. The game got over just as I needed to leave which worked out nicely. The sleep study was fine, and I think since P is so old it was not hard to leave her for the night.

Tuesday P had Make-n-Take in the morning. S had Yo-yo camp afterward. I was super tired since I didn’t get any sleep last night so I dropped S off at Yo-yo camp and went home to take a nap. B picked him up which was nice because I didn’t have to worry about it and could get a good nap.

Wednesday we ran down to Haslinger’s Orchard in the morning for the last batch of fresh strawberries this season. S had Yo-yo camp and then Coding for Computers. After we got home it was a swimming day because of the heat. We had friends over and there were a ton of kids in the pool. In the evening, my sisters came over and we had pizza and did some swimming.

Thursday P had tee ball in the morning. She was super whiny which I attribute to the late night last night and the hot weather today. S had Yo-yo camp before lunch. He also had a baseball game in the evening.

Friday we went to Make-n-Take and Soccer Basics. It was super-hot outside, but P kept up with it and stayed at Soccer Basics for the entire hour. We spent the afternoon swimming.

Saturday S had a game in the morning. It was another day of being super-hot. The game was rough for S. He made it through the game. My brother and his family came over for lunch afterward. We hung out for a while and it was nice to spend time with them. I went to a friend’s kid’s art show in the evening.

Sunday we spent the day at home. The kids got to swim all afternoon. There cousin, aunt, and grandma came over to swim. The kids were ecstatic to have them to swim with. I got a few reviews done while they were swimming.

Last Week

Monday-P has tee ball in the morning. B needs to turn in our car and get the new one. The new Tiguan will have a third row and is a rust orange color. The kids have no idea what the color is going to be. S has a baseball game in the evening. I have to leave his game a little early and go do a sleep study. This is the first time I am going to be spending a night away from P and the first time S will be sleeping in the house without me. (No worries B will be home.)

Tuesday-I am going to get up and go straight to the gym before I head home. P has Make-n-Take in the morning. Then I have to run her home and take S to Yo-yo camp. The rest of the day we are just going to be home.

Wednesday-The kids and I are going to run down to Haslinger’s Orchard to get more strawberries. S has Yo-yo camp and then Coding for Computers in the afternoon. So he is going to eat lunch in between the two camps. This evening the kids and I are going to get together for dinner with my sisters.

Thursday-P has tee ball in the morning. S has his final day of Yo-yo camp and a game at night. It is supposed to be super-hot so the game is going to be a sweaty one. I am sure we will probably be swimming before we go to the game. P is going to stay with May because B can’t go to the game. It is too hard for me to watch her and keep book for the team.

Friday-P has Make-n-Take in the morning and the soccer basics. As long as she can tolerate the heat we will stay for soccer. The rest of the day we are hanging out at home. I am sure some swimming will be happening.

Saturday-S has a mid-morning baseball game. The rest of the day we are hanging out at home so I am sure we will spend it in the pool.

Sunday-No plans just hanging out at home.
