Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

We have a super-busy week and are going to be on the move. I am still working out every morning. I am going to try to stick with it.

This Week

Monday-P has tee ball in the morning. B needs to turn in our car and get the new one. The new Tiguan will have a third row and is a rust orange color. The kids have no idea what the color is going to be. S has a baseball game in the evening. I have to leave his game a little early and go do a sleep study. This is the first time I am going to be spending a night away from P and the first time S will be sleeping in the house without me. (No worries B will be home.)

Tuesday-I am going to get up and go straight to the gym before I head home. P has Make-n-Take in the morning. Then I have to run her home and take S to Yo-yo camp. The rest of the day we are just going to be home.

Wednesday-The kids and I are going to run down to Haslinger’s Orchard to get more strawberries. S has Yo-yo camp and then Coding for Computers in the afternoon. So he is going to eat lunch in between the two camps. This evening the kids and I are going to get together for dinner with my sisters.

Thursday-P has tee ball in the morning. S has his final day of Yo-yo camp and a game at night. It is supposed to be super-hot so the game is going to be a sweaty one. I am sure we will probably be swimming before we go to the game. P is going to stay with May because B can’t go to the game. It is too hard for me to watch her and keep book for the team.

Friday-P has Make-n-Take in the morning and the soccer basics. As long as she can tolerate the heat we will stay for soccer. The rest of the day we are hanging out at home. I am sure some swimming will be happening.

Saturday-S has a mid-morning baseball game. The rest of the day we are hanging out at home so I am sure we will spend it in the pool.

Sunday-No plans just hanging out at home.

Last Week Recap

Monday P had her first tee ball game. She was so excited to play. When she was on 3rd base and she had to run home I yelled, “Run Home!” and she ran right to the dugout. Forget home plate. She did go back and touch it but man I wish I had that on video. Afterward we ran to Haslinger’s to get strawberries. The first of the season for us!

Tuesday P had Make-n-Take in the morning. S and I did a little baseball practice while P was doing crafts. We went swimming in the afternoon before we went to an under the lights baseball game for S. P was exhausted and ended up lying in the wagon with the canopy lowered so she could “sleep.”

Wednesday we hung out at home. S helped B outside in the morning. He had his first Coding with Computers in the afternoon. He was super excited about this camp but I guess a lot of other kids were too, because there were over 60 kids for this camp. I think they were expecting 20-30 initially but had a much better turn out. The rest of the day we hung out at home and swam.

Thursday it was raining in the morning so we opted to not do tee ball. They still had it but were only playing in the outfield. When S and I were on the baseball field practicing on Tuesday the outfield was a muddy mess. P would freak out if she got all muddy. It sprinkled the entire time, too. B and I ran some errands and did a little shopping while the kiddos hung out with Grandma and Grandpa. It was so nice to leisurely look at stuff in the stores with B and not have kids rushing us or whining.

Friday S went fishing with my uncle. He has wanted to go so bad and loves to hang out with him. He will always remember these times and I love knowing that. P had Make-n-Take in the morning and then went straight to Soccer Basics. While she was doing her craft time I did a little retail therapy and went to Target. I didn’t buy anything but I was scoping out the summer stuff that will go 90% in July. S really loves going to soccer. I think her favorite is the game Mr. Fox that they play at the end. We went out and picked up S from my uncles. We ended up going to Haslinger’s to get more strawberries on the way home (a little out of the way but totally worth it). We ate the first 8 qts way faster than I thought we would. I didn’t even get to make any pies with them, so we had to get more. S had a baseball game in the evening.

Saturday the kids swam in the early afternoon because we had a graduation party to go to in the afternoon. Even after the graduation party the kids came home and swam for a few more hours.

Sunday we went to see Toy Story 4 in the morning. The kids spent the rest of the day swimming with A and their cousins. S and P swam for over 5 hours only getting out to eat dinner for 10 minutes. Safe to say they were exhausted when it was time to go to bed.

Last Week-I am going to work out this week until I have my final meeting with the coach/owner and go from there.

Monday-P has her first tee ball game in the morning. I just don’t see how it is going to happen with all of the rain we have had this past weekend. I am going to drive by the baseball fields after my workout. If they are too wet and flooded I am not going to take P. She will freak out if other kids splash her with muddy water or she gets her shoes wet and muddy. I want to drive out to Haslinger’s Orchard and get strawberries after tee ball if it happens. S has piano lessons in the afternoon. Other than that we are just going to be at home.

Tuesday-P has Make and Take at the rec in the morning. She is excited to make crafts twice a week. S has 4-H after dinner and then a late baseball game. P is going to go to this game. Since B and I are driving separate if she can’t make it then he will head home early with her.

Wednesday-S has Coding for Computers at the Rec in the afternoon. The rest of the day we are just hanging out at home.

Thursday-P has tee ball in the morning. The farmer’s market is in the afternoon. If it is nice hopefully we can go and walk around.

Friday-P has Make and Take Crafts in the morning. Afterward she has about a half hour and then Soccer Basics. She loves going to the soccer clinics on Fridays. In the afternoon we have a few hours before we have to head back to the park for S’s baseball game. B will meet us there after he gets off of work.

Saturday-Our neighbor is having a graduation party so we will be hanging out over there most of the day.

Sunday-We have no plans so we are just hanging out at home.
