Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do. It was a busy week with a baby back in the house. Everything else got put on the back burner. I wrote last week’s Manic Monday but never got around to posting it, so am going to include two weeks’ worth today.

This Week-I am going to work out this week until I have my final meeting with the coach/owner and go from there.

Monday-P has her first tee ball game in the morning. I just don’t see how it is going to happen with all of the rain we have had this past weekend. I am going to drive by the baseball fields after my workout. If they are too wet and flooded I am not going to take P. She will freak out if other kids splash her with muddy water or she gets her shoes wet and muddy. I want to drive out to Haslinger’s Orchard and get strawberries after tee ball if it happens.   S has piano lessons in the afternoon. Other than that we are just going to be at home.

Tuesday-P has Make and Take at the rec in the morning. She is excited to make crafts twice a week. S has 4-H after dinner and then a late baseball game. P is going to go to this game. Since B and I are driving separate if she can’t make it then he will head home early with her.

Wednesday-S has Coding for Computers at the Rec in the afternoon. The rest of the day we are just hanging out at home.

Thursday-P has tee ball in the morning. The farmer’s market is in the afternoon. If it is nice hopefully we can go and walk around.

Friday-P has Make and Take Crafts in the morning. Afterward she has about a half hour and then Soccer Basics. She loves going to the soccer clinics on Fridays. In the afternoon we have a few hours before we have to head back to the park for S’s baseball game. B will meet us there after he gets off of work.

Saturday-Our neighbor is having a graduation party so we will be hanging out over there most of the day.

Sunday-We have no plans so we are just hanging out at home.

Last Week Recap

Monday P had Safety Town and then we had Little B so we hung out at home. B took S to his piano lessons in the afternoon.

Tuesday P had Safety Town. In the afternoon we took advantage of the nice weather and let the kids go swimming.

Wednesday we ended up swimming in the afternoon. The kids swam until it was time for S to get ready for his baseball game. B stayed home with Little B until May got home and then came up to the game. P went to the game with me and was glad she did because they were celebrating the beginning of the Summer Recreation program. She got to get unicorns painted on her arms and then finally got to have her face painted. It lasted for less than an hour and then the paint started to irritate her skin and she wanted to get it off.

Thursday P had Safety Town in the morning. I ran up to the Park Rec so that I could get P’s teeball shirt and hat. I really needed to fold laundry and work on my computer but somehow I just never got around to it.

Friday I went for my final weigh-in of my challenge and I met my goal of losing 6% body fat. (That will be a whole different post on the entire 42 days.) We had P’s Safety Town graduation in the morning. Afterward I went over to May’s to help watch the kiddos so her husband could clean her studio for her birthday present. After I was done I went home and took a nap for a few hours. We went out for May’s birthday for dinner and ice cream. I was good and waited to eat until I got home. When we got home the kids played outside for another hour. By the time we got inside I was too tired to do anything other than head to bed.

Saturday I didn’t go workout because my knees are killing me. I decided to take two days off in a row to help and hopefully take some of the irritation away. I made cake filling and frosting in the morning before S and I had to leave for his baseball game. It was raining off and on all morning and I was really hoping it was going to be cancelled but it wasn’t. They played in the drizzle until the last inning when it just poured down on them. When we got home I had to decorate two cakes for A’s birthday party. The game ran late so I had less than two hours to frost and assemble both of them. It took me about 2 hours 45 minutes to get them all done and that included me taking a shower, too. We went to the birthday party and the kids had fun. P loved playing with the girls and dressing up.

Sunday it rained all day. I wanted to go get strawberries from Haslinger’s Orchard but there picking was rained out and they did not have any to sell. The kids and I hung out at home during the day. We took S to two different stores to try different sizes of bikes for him. He has outgrown his bike and needs a bigger one. The rest of the afternoon we hung out at home.

Last Week

This Week-The plan is to workout everyday including Saturday. My final weigh-in is this week.

Monday-We still have Little B, P has Safety Town and S has piano lessons in the afternoon. Otherwise we are just going to be home.

Tuesday-Yes, we still have Little B, and P has Safety Town. Nothing else going on today.

Wednesday-The last day with Little B. P has Safety Town and gets to ride a bus today. They will visit all of the elementary schools in the district. P is so excited to ride the bus. Little B will head home before we leave for S’s baseball game around dinner time.

Thursday-P has Safety Town. While she is there I am going to go up to the Rec center and get P’s hat and shirt for teeball. Obviously she can’t go because she will be at Safety Town. The rest of the day is going to be a recovery day. I need to wash and fold laundry, work on the computer (aka write some posts, even if they are late), and make the cakes for A’s birthday party this weekend.

Friday-P has Safety Town graduation in the morning. Afterward we are going to hang out with the neighbors for a little while. B is going to take P to her first soccer basics. She loves going. I am going to finish up the laundry and decorate the cakes for tomorrow.

Saturday-S has a game at 11am. Afterward we will come home and hang out a while before we go to A’s birthday party.

Sunday-Today is Father’s Day. Somehow B always seems to have to work 3rd shift this weekend. He will sleep all morning, get up for a few hours with us and then head back to work. So not much will be going on.

Last Week Recap-I did work out every day except Wednesday (I wasn’t feeling good), and Sunday (they are closed).

Monday P started Safety Town. She could have cared less that I was leaving her. As soon as she found the desk where she was going to sit I was an afterthought. I did some returns and shopping while she was at school. We went to 577 Foundation in the afternoon. That is the first time I have ever been there. While the kids enjoyed it, it was definitely something that they are done with fast. I thing after 20-25 minutes they were ready to go. S had a game in the evening.

Tuesday while P was at Safety Town S and I went over to my dad’s to see if we could find anything to use for fairy villages. We did find some old fish tank stuff like a SpongeBob pineapple house that P used. The rest of the day we hung out at home.

Wednesday I woke up not feeling well. It felt like I was falling off the bed but I was lying down completely still. I was worried the vertigo might be coming back and I could not get it because I knew I was getting Little B in two days. P went to Safety Town. While she was there I went back home and took a nap until it was time to pick her up. It was A’s birthday so I assembled the chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches I made in the afternoon. After dinner we did a little birthday celebration for him and then it was off to get ready for bed.

Thursday P had Safety Town in the morning. While she was there, S and I went up to the park and did baseball drills for an hour and half. He did really well and it seems like he actually learned a lot I taught him. S had a game in the evening, and was backing up other positions like I taught him which did end up helping in the end. P got to play with her little friend (one of the other players little brother) during the game. As long as she stays where she can see us and we can see her she gets a little freer reign to run around and play.

Friday I worked out in the morning, and came home to get P ready for Safety Town. After I dropped her off I went to a few garage sales looking for a walker to put Little B in at my house. I found one for $2. It was a little dirty but nothing I can’t clean. Really I only needed it for the few days we had her and then I could just donate it. Then it was onto baby watching time. I got Little B and she was all mine until Wednesday evening. I wasn’t quite sure what her schedule was going to be so it was a day of figuring it all out.

Saturday I still got up and went to work out. I was up 3 times last night with Little B, but I left her still sleeping. I managed to figure out a schedule for Little B that worked and made it much easier for all of us because we weren’t trying to guess what she wanted or why she was fussy. S had baseball practice in the afternoon. The rest of the day we just hung out at home.

Sunday we hung out at home in the morning. After Little B woke up from her first nap we went and bought a new dishwasher. It was long overdue. We got it just before S was born and the heating element to dry the dishes never worked right. The door didn’t close after S stepped on it as a baby and broke the hinges. The door would touch the ground unless we put a cup under it. After Little B’s 2nd nap we went to her grandma’s house for a visit. P was so excited to go over and play with L and A.

Last Week

Monday-P starts Safety Town in the morning. After my workout I will come home and get her ready to go. She is excited to go. S has a friend coming over in the afternoon and then a baseball game after dinner.

Tuesday-Safety town in the morning. S has 4-H after dinner.

Wednesday-Safety town in the morning. It is A’s birthday so I am sure at some point we will do some kind of cake for him.

Thursday-Safety town in the morning and S has a game in the evening. There is also the farmer’s market that I am sure B will stop at.

Friday-Safety town in the morning. We are getting Little B for a few days and I am so excited to watch her. The plan is for P to have a sleepover in S’s bedroom so Little B can sleep in her room. If that doesn’t work out then Little B will sleep in my bedroom.

Saturday-As of now no plans for the weekend just hanging out and watching Little B

Sunday-Same thing as Saturday.
