Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

Monday-The kids go back to school. I have a doctor appt. in the morning so B is going to get the kids ready for school. After school they have tutoring. I also have to run to the craft store for some ribbon and paper.

Tuesday-Not a lot happening today. P does not have catechism again this week, but it is back to piano lessons.

Wednesday-P has school in the morning. The rest of the day we are just going to be home. The kids have tutoring after school.

Thursday-P is so excited that we are watching Little A for the day. She is planning on what she is going to do with her. I see a nap in my future after Little A heads home.

Friday-P has school in the morning and I am watching Little A for the day. At some point I need to make the cake and cupcakes for my nieces birthday party.

Saturday-The kids have a Home Depot build in the morning. I have to decorate the cake for my niece, and any decorations that I have not completed yet.

Sunday-We have my niece’s 1st birthday party, S has a 4-H meeting and B and I are going to see Aaron Lewis in the evening. This concert just came up a few weeks ago and we got the tickets right away. I love that we didn’t have to buy these tickets 3, 6, 9, or 12 months in advance. It’s how it used to be.

Last Week Recap

Monday we hung out at home. It was just a day of being at home. I took P outside to play in the afternoon. B worked on playhouse door and finally got it finished.

Tuesday I went over to May’s house to help out with the kiddos. They were not feeling well. B stayed home with the kiddos because I would not let them come over with me. I didn’t want to take the chance that they get sick. (So far they have not gotten sick as of Sunday night.)

Wednesday was another day of helping out May with the sick kiddos. They just didn’t want to get better. Little B was sick but she was so snuggly and I loved every minute of it.

Thursday it was supposed to rain and be cold all day. We were pleasantly surprised when the rain stopped in the morning and the sun came out. We went to lunch at Reset for a pizza buffet. The kids had fun. When we got home the kids played outside until it was time for dinner. B and I went to see Dierks Bentley with our neighbor. It was a great concert and we had fun.

Friday B had to go back to work after having two weeks off of work. Sadly we didn’t go anywhere for spring break like we wanted but the kids had fun so that is all that matters. P and I went outside so she could draw with chalk on the driveway. After a while I got S to come outside and play with the kids while I went on a walk. No worries he didn’t watch the kids, there was an adult home with him I just wanted him to come outside.

Saturday we hung out at home in the morning. S had a birthday party in the afternoon. We went to May’s for dinner in the evening. The kids all played together and were crazy. Much to our surprise it started to snow in the evening. First of all the snow was a surprise, secondly the flakes were huge and wet, and finally the snow actually stuck on the grass and we got about an inch along with tons of ice.

Sunday we hung out at home in the morning and then went to May’s in the afternoon for a while. The kids played and we watched a little TV, The Act on Hulu. I also worked on my niece’s birthday banner.

Last Week

This week is spring break so no school all week.

Monday-We are going to hit up Legoland.

Tuesday-There is no catechism or piano lessons this week. I have a dentist appointment with a TMJ specialist. The appointment is about 2 hours I was told. Hopefully he can give me some ideas on what mouth guards I can wear at night.

Wednesday-No plans yet. S has asked to go to Dave and Busters. Depending on the kids were at Cosi and Legoland will determine if we go today.

Thursday-We have the Dierks Bentley concert in the evening. The kids are going to hang out with Grandma while we go. The weather is supposed to be nice today so hopefully the kids will be able to play outside.

Friday-I am hoping the weather is still nice out so the kids can play outside. We could try to do the zoo depending on the rain.

Saturday-S has a birthday party for his friend. Other than that we are just hanging out at home. We had another birthday party to go to that I was going to make a cake for but it got rescheduled.

Sunday-No plans for today just hanging out at home getting ready to go back to school.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
