Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week.  Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

Monday-The kids were supposed to not have school because it is President’s Day, but since they had a cancellation last week from weather, S now has to go to school.  P does not because she goes to St. Rose.  So we are hanging out at home.  S and P are both working with K on reading comprehension and letter recognition.

Tuesday-Not a whole lot going on during the day.  S doesn’t have catechism but piano lessons after school.

Wednesday-P has school in the morning.  After school S and P are going to be working with K again on reading comprehension and letter recognition.

Thursday-P and I have kindergarten registration in the morning.  She goes and does some testing while I get to fill out paperwork!  The rest of the day we are just hanging out at home.

Friday-P has school in the morning and B is going to get concert tickets for us.  They go on sale at 10 am.  So excited!  The rest of the day we are spending at home.

Saturday-No plans for the day.

Sunday-No plans for the day, again.

Last Week Recap

Monday P had school in the morning.  In the afternoon P ended up doing some watercolor painting to keep herself busy.  After school S and P worked with K on reading comprehension and letter recognition.

Tuesday school was cancelled due to an ice storm we had.  There was ice hanging off everything.  Because school was cancelled today they have to go to school on President’s Day.  S had catechism cancelled and did not have piano lessons so it worked out well.

Wednesday P had school in the morning.  She got to have her Valentine party at school and loved getting all the Valentine’s.  We hung out at home the rest of the day.

Thursday P and I took her little preschool friend to school because she had a two-hour delay.  S had his Valentine day party at school.

Friday the kiddos did not have school so we hung out around the house.  B finally hung up all the canvases I ordered two years ago.  Yes, it takes a while sometimes!  We got take out for dinner and hung out with the neighbor’s.

Saturday we hung out at home all day.  P and I took down the Valentine decorations and hung up the few we have for St. Patrick’s Day.  B and S worked in the garage building a trailer for his remote control cars.  I watched A Star is Born on my laptop.  I found it online on at MovieNinja.com.

Sunday I hung out at home to watch the Daytona 500.  The kids worked in the garage with B.  Really B and S were working on building something and P was swinging.  I made a run to Target to check and see if the Valentine clearance went to 70%.  It didn’t.  The food did go down to 50%.  I walked out with nothing but there was a ton of stuff left.

Last Week

Monday-P has school in the morning and then we are hanging out at home the rest of the day.  P and I need to do her Valentine’s for her class on Wednesday and then we are going to make twist cookies.

Tuesday-We are supposed to get an ice storm Monday night so I am not sure if the kids have school.  S has catechism after school but no piano this week.

Wednesday-P has school in the morning and her Valentine Day party at school.  I need to fold laundry and when S gets home he needs to do his Valentine’s.

Thursday-P and I are going to hang out at home all day.  It is Valentine’s Day, but we don’t have any plans.

Friday-The kid’s don’t have school today.  Thankfully B is off work too so I won’t be alone with the kids all day.

Saturday-We are all home again with no plans.

Sunday-Another day of us all home with no plans.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
