Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week.  Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

Monday-The kids don’t have school today because it is Martin Luther King Day.  It is going to be bitterly cold so the kids are going to be stuck inside.  I am planning on taking P over to the neighbor’s and binge watching You on Netflix.  S is going to stay home with B and build some cars from wood.  S is learning to use saws and sanding, etc.

Tuesday-It is going to be warm enough today that P will be able to play out in the snow before it melts.  Since she doesn’t have school today hopefully she can get a few hours in the afternoon outside.  I have dentist appointment to get a new mouthguard.  It’s been 10 years since I have gotten a new mouthguard so I think it’s time.  S has catechism and piano lessons after school so he won’t get a chance to play outside.

Wednesday-P has school in the morning.  I may run to Wal-Mart and check out the toy clearance that they have right now.  We are going to Ohio Skate after dinner.  S and I look forward to when they have it for his school.

Thursday-No plans for today, just hanging around the house.

Friday-P has school in the morning and the rest of the day we are just going to hang out at home.

Saturday-Another day of no plans.

Sunday-Ditto, same as yesterday.

Last Week Recap

Monday P had school in the morning.  I ran to a few Walgreens while P was at school to check out the 90% Christmas clearance.  After I picked P up I convinced her to go to 3 more with me.  The rest of the day we hung out at home.

Tuesday I folded laundry and went through all of it to size P up to the next size.  She is not really ready for it, but the 4T’s are getting just a bit too tight.  In the afternoon A and Baby L came over to play and eat dinner.  We also made chocolate chip cookies.

Wednesday P had school in the morning.  After school I convinced P to go to Target with me to check out the toys and see if there was anything we needed to go back for tomorrow because of the big toy clearance.  Afterward we hung out at home the rest of the night.

Thursday we were supposed to get snow.  Unfortunately we only got a light dusting.  P and I hung out at home the rest of the day.

Friday P had school in the morning.  We hung out in the afternoon and I watched Little B for a while after dinner.

Saturday we had a huge snowstorm so the kids played outside for most of the afternoon.  I was out with them for about an hour and a half and then I went inside to make a cake for my sister’s diaper party/sprinkle tomorrow.  I tried to match the cake to the invitation so I drew a picture first so I knew what colors to make the frosting.  I was really happy with it when it turned out.

Sunday we hung out in the morning and I went through all of S’s clothes to move him up to the next size.  I went to the diaper party/sprinkle in the afternoon, B went shopping and the kids got to hang out with grandma and grandpa.  The rest of the night we hung out at home.  B helped one of S’s friends with a woodworking project.

Last Week

Monday-P has school in the morning.  While she is at school I am going to run to as many Walgreens as I can to see if I can find any good 90% Christmas clearance.  I will probably try to convince P to go to a few more Walgreens with me when I pick her up from school.

Tuesday-P and I are hanging out at home during the day. I need to go through and move P up into the next size of clothes.  She is not quite there yet, but the 4T pants are too small.  S has catechism and piano lessons after school.

Wednesday-P has school in the morning.  Afterward we are going to run to Target and check out the toy clearance to see if there is anything good to go back for tomorrow if the toy clearance goes 70%.

Thursday-P and I are going to hang out at home.  We may run to Target for the 70% toy clearance, but there really isn’t anything that I need to get for the kids.  S is basically done with toys and P has everything she needs/wants.  The stuff she does want is not even close to being on clearance yet.

Friday-P has school in the morning.  We are supposed to get snow so they may have a delay or cancellation today.  No plans for the rest of the day just hanging out at home.

Saturday-I am working on making and decorating a cake for my sister.  She is having a Sprinkle (small baby shower) tomorrow.  We are supposed to get a ton of snow today.  The kids will have a field day and play outside if we do.

Sunday-My sister has her sprinkle in the afternoon.  Hopefully the roads won’t be bad and I will be able to make it.  The kids are going to hang out with B.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
