Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
Monday-We are going to try and get S’s Halloween/Fall pictures done again this morning. The rest of the day has no plans, but things always seem to come up.
Tuesday-We are watching Baby A and B will be heading to work later in the day.
Wednesday-Baby A and I will be taking S to storytime again. Let’s hope Baby A enjoys the library as much as he did last week.
Thursday-I think S and I are going to try and take Baby A to Target. Later we are going to head up to the farmer’s market for some apple cider, peaches and pears.
Friday-The only thing I am planning on doing is going uptown to watch the boys create there sidewalk chalk art.
Saturday-Today is Harris Rally Day. It is a big thing in Perrysburg. We will go to the parade in the morning and then walk around uptown to see what freebies we can get. We will also vote on the sidewalk chalk art done at the library. Of course we will be voting for the boys!
Sunday-No plans as of right now, I am sure that will change.
Last Week Recap
Monday I never made it to Target. I checked out a few blogs and they all were commenting on how Target salvaged all of the dollar spot items that were on sale. We just hung out at home all day and played. Tuesday was my birthday so S and I made a cake, watched Baby A all day and played outside in the afternoon.
Wednesday we watched Baby A, S had his first storytime at the library, and then tried to get S’s Halloween/Fall pictures. S wanted no part of them, fell asleep on the way to get pictures and was not a happy camper when he woke up. So we gave up on pictures for the day and rescheduled for Monday. Thursday S and I watched Baby A, never made it to the farmer’s market and did not make the journey to Target.
Friday I was so exhausted from watching Baby A that S and I slept in, and later took S for a drive so he could take a nap. I also took a nap with him. Later we rode bikes over to my mom’s so S could play with F. Saturday S and I built a fire truck at Lowe’s Build ‘n’ Grow and then hung out at home. We made orange cookies and they were delicious. So easy to make (1 box of cake mix (any flavor we used orange supreme), 2 cups of Cool Whip, and 1 egg. Mix together and then drop a teaspoon of dough in powdered sugar. Cover thoroughly and then cook at 350° for 10 minutes).
Sunday B and S went to Bug fest (VW Beetle car show) and I slept in. We hung out most of the day at home, and then B had to make a trip to Menards. Since he was going to Menards I went along and got to visit another Target (not my normal one). So I got to end my weekend with a trip to Target and some great finds. A pretty low key week for us, which is just fine by me. It is nice once in a while to not be busy and have a slow week.
Last Week
Monday-I am thinking I will make a run to Target because the dollar spot was 50% off, and the sign said it ended 9/8, so I am hoping it will go 70% today. There is really no rhyme or reason to the markdowns of the dollar spot and may just get salvaged. Only a trip to Target or checking Facebook will let me know if the dollar spot was marked down or salvaged. Not all of the dollar spot got marked down just the items with black stars. The rest of the day we will just be hanging out at home.
Tuesday-Watching Baby A, and Oh! It’s my birthday! I turn 33! As far as I know S and I will make a cake while Baby A watches and have cake after dinner.
Wednesday-Today we are watching Baby A and S starts storytime at the library. Eeek! This could be either exciting, easy, or a disaster. At least S will have a good time! I have not had to get a three year old and baby out of the house together so this should be interesting. I am hoping to S’s Halloween picks done today. He wants to be a construction worker. This is the month I get his fall picks done and today he is 45 months old or 3 and ¾ years old.
Thursday-Watching Baby A and if yesterday went good at the library, I am going to try and venture out with Baby A to Target. He hates the car seat carrier and the car in general. If I can’t get him to sit in his seat at Target it will be a lost cause. As always we will hit the farmer’s market to get some corn and pears. Maybe a few peaches if B wants another pie.
Friday-No plans as of yet.
Saturday-S and I will be going to Lowe’s to build a fire truck. S loves going to Lowe’s because his girlfriend is in charge of the Build ‘n’ Grow. I imagine we will be coming home and S will be driving his truck all over the yard.
Sunday-As of right now just a quiet day at home while B works. I am sure it will change.
