Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week.  Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

Monday-P has school but I am going to keep her home.  Her cold is nasty.  It is a barky cough like croup but it’s not croup.  I am hoping to get her into the doctor’s today.  S has school and then Eco Club after school.  I want to finalize S’s school project and send it to S’s teacher.  He wants to add some background color on to the slideshow.

Tuesday-S has school but not catechism after school.  He still has piano lessons.

Wednesday-P has school but no other plans.

Thursday-I am getting my haircut (finally), and then B and I are going to shop at Kohl’s to use the Kohl’s cash that I got shopping on Black Friday.

Friday-P has school.  The rest of the day we are just going to be hanging out at work.

Saturday-The kids have a Home Depot build in the morning.  They are going to make a reindeer and sleigh.  The rest of the day we are hanging out at home.

Sunday-We don’t have any plans, so we are just going to hang out at home.

Last Week Recap

My ribs still hurt from coughing too much.  It is to the point where I am finally going to see the doctor about it.  My vertigo never went away totally but it came back again.  Thursday night I started feeling it and it was different this time.  When I close my eyes now is when I get super dizzy.  It feels like I am falling backward even though I am totally lying in bed.  P said to me, “I’ll ask Dada since you wobble.”  I guess I wobble when I walk, too.

Monday P had school.  After school S and I worked on the tree.  When we realized some of the lights were out we stopped spreading the tree branches and waited for B to get home and fix them.  He figured out the blue lights were going out and replaced them with other colors.  Magically the tree is now fully lit again.

Tuesday P and I watched Little A during the day.  S had catechism after school.  After catechism we took the kids to see Santa at Bass Pro Shops.  The kids loved it and had so much fun.

Wednesday the kids didn’t have school so we hung out at home.  The tree was up so we worked on spreading the branches and getting it ready to put ornaments on.

Thursday we watched the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in the morning and then went to see Wreck-It Ralph 2.  The kids loved the movie.  Afterward we decorated the tree and then B and I went Black Friday Shopping.

Friday B got up in the morning and did his usual Black Friday shopping by himself.  The kids and I hung out at home.  I stayed in bed most of the day because my ribs hurt and the vertigo was creeping back.

Saturday B took the kids to a Home Depot build in the morning.  I got to sleep in.  The vertigo came back but different this time.  It makes me nauseous when I am lying down or sleeping.  In the afternoon B worked outside while the kids hung out with me inside.  We went to the lights parade in Maumee.  The kids love going and we got to try out our new wagon that we got for a great deal at Target last month.

Sunday we hung out at home.  The kids worked/played outside with B.  I tried to rest most of the day because my ribs and vertigo were still bothering me.  S hung with me in the afternoon and worked on his school project.  He wanted to create a slideshow so he had to type it on the computer.  It took him over 2 hours for him to type 13 sentences.  It is actually painful to watch him try to find the letters on the keyboard.  We did finally finish his project which is awesome.  (Side note: S wanted to add color to the back of each slide he created.  It took him over 2 hours to type but less than 30 minutes to add the color to each slide!)

Last Week

Monday-P has school in the morning.  The only day this week!  S does not have Eco club so he will come home right after school.  Since yesterday he thought he was being sneaky and cleaned his room so he didn’t have to work on his project, we will today.

Tuesday-P and I are going to watch Little A for the day.  S has catechism after school but does not have piano. I think we are going to try to go see Santa at Bass Pro after catechism.

Wednesday-The kids do not have school today.  We are going to hang out around the house and if I am lucky it will be nice enough for them to go outside and play.  If not S will be working on his project.  I am hoping to have it completed by the end of the weekend.

Thursday-Today is Thanksgiving.  B is working so the kids and I are going to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade in the morning and then go see Wreck-It Ralph, Breaks the Internet.  The kids are counting down the days.  Afterward they are going to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa while B and I do some Black Friday shopping (That is unless I am able to get everything on the Internet ahead of time.)  My kids don’t and have never liked any traditional food from Thanksgiving so they could care less about all the yummy food.

Friday-B will probably get up early and do some Black Friday shopping.  The kids and I are just going to hang out at home.

Saturday-We have a build in the morning at Home Depot.  After dinner we are going to the Maumee Lights Parade.  The kids love seeing all the lights in the parade and have a great time.

Sunday-I don’t know of any plans as of now so we are just going to be hanging out at home.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
