Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week.  Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

This is only two days late.  I wonder if it will back date on the blog to Monday?  Guess we will find out.

Monday-I had a doctor’s appointment in the afternoon otherwise we just hung out at home.  B got only 2 hours of sleep last night so he came home and passed out at 8pm with the kids.  I was asleep by 8:30pm.

Tuesday-S had a night off and there was no catechism because of the retreat we went to on Saturday.  I watched A and Baby L after school for a few hours.  The kids had fun playing and eating dinner together.  S went to his piano lessons while the kids finished their dinner.

Wednesday-Today we had story time in the morning and then just hung out at home.

Thursday-Nothing is planned for today.  P and I are hanging out at home.  I may try to get the kids Easter pics done in the evening.

Friday-B is off today and we are just hanging out at home.

Saturday-We are going to a pancake breakfast in the morning for the local boy scouts.  We have gone in years past and when it falls on St. Patty’s day they make green pancakes.  I hope they do it again.  The kids will love it.  My sisters are doing a paint class in the evening.  I haven’t decided if I am going to go or not.  I think it is going to be a last minute decision.

Sunday-Not a whole lot going on, just was hanging around the house.

Last Week Recap

Monday was a quiet day at home.

Tuesday I took S to Reconciliation at church instead of catechism class.  Afterward P and I ran him to piano lessons.  While he was at piano lessons P and I went to Target to get her a new Despicable Me Fart Blaster.  Hers never seemed to work right so we replaced it.  She was so happy about it.  We grabbed pizza on the way home.

Wednesday and Thursday not a whole lot was happening.  Just hung out at home.

Friday B, P, and I ended up running to Target before S got home from school.  I was able to check out all the Easter goodies to see what I might want to get when it goes 90% off.  Instead I found a bunch of winter tubes that were 70% off.  I know they are for snow tubing but I plan on using them in the pool this summer.  We also got a couple of things for the kids to play with in the summer.

Saturday S and I went to his 1st Communion retreat.  We got to see different areas of the church that I have never seen before.  We ended the retreat with lunch and then I went home and took a much needed nap.  It was Daylight Savings Time so we had to Spring ahead one hour at night.  It really doesn’t mess you up until Monday morning.  That is when it catches up because you go to bed an hour later than what the time says but still have to get up at the correct time which is an hour early than your body thinks.

Sunday we hung out at home.  Not a whole lot happened.

Last Week

Monday-Nothing happening, just hanging out at home.

Tuesday-Not a whole lot happening during the day.  S has Reconciliation instead of catechism class and then piano lessons.  P is going to hang out at May’s and then run S to piano lessons with me.  We are going to make a quick stop at Target while he is at his lessons.

Wednesday-P starts her new session of story time at the library.  She is so excited to go again.  Other than that not a whole lot happening.

Thursday-P and I may do a run to Target and check out the clearance.  I also need to do a little investigation on the Easter stuff.  It will take longer than I have on Monday night.

Friday-It is just another day of hanging out at home.

Saturday-S and I have a retreat at church for his 1st Communion.  B and P will be hanging out at home or doing whatever it is they do while we are gone.

Sunday-No plans just hanging out at home.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
