Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week.  Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

Monday-Nothing happening, just hanging out at home.

Tuesday-Not a whole lot happening during the day.  S has Reconciliation instead of catechism class and then piano lessons.  P is going to hang out at May’s and then run S to piano lessons with me.  We are going to make a quick stop at Target while he is at his lessons.

Wednesday-P starts her new session of story time at the library.  She is so excited to go again.  Other than that not a whole lot happening.

Thursday-P and I may do a run to Target and check out the clearance.  I also need to do a little investigation on the Easter stuff.  It will take longer than I have on Monday night.

Friday-It is just another day of hanging out at home.

Saturday-S and I have a retreat at church for his 1st Communion.  B and P will be hanging out at home or doing whatever it is they do while we are gone.

Sunday-No plans just hanging out at home.

Last Week Recap

Monday B and I went to the dentist.  Afterward it was so nice outside that P and I went for a walk and played outside.

Tuesday was another nice day so it was more walking and playing outside.  P was riding her bike around the cul-de-sac like Driving Miss Daisy.  She was so slow pedaling her bike.  I could walk faster than she was going.  The best thing of all was she was singing Moana songs while she was riding.  When S came home from school he was not happy that he was not allowed to play outside.  He needed to get a snack and get ready for catechism and piano lessons.

Wednesday we did not have story time so we just hung out at home.  We went for another walk and then waited for S to come home so we could hang up Easter eggs outside.  S is used to hanging eggs so he went about it methodically.  He knows how I like the eggs so he kept telling the kids spread them out, don’t put the same color of eggs next to each other, and they have to go on bigger branches so they don’t blow off.  I didn’t say anything and just let them all decorate how they wanted.  S did the trees, and P and A did the bush which was easy for them to reach.  When I checked later I saw that P and A hung eggs off the bark instead of branches.

Thursday it rained all day so we stayed inside.  S was waiting for the bus and came back in saying the rain and wind was crazy.  When we looked at him his pants and shoes were completely soaked.  So we did a quick change of clothes and he waited for the bus inside the garage.  My sister came over in the afternoon to hang out.  When she was there the rain changed over to a sleet/snow mix.  We got a good 2 inches I would say when it was all said and done.

Friday thankfully S did not have a delay and went to school as planned.  P and I hung out at home while B was at work.  It was just a chill day at home all around.  After S got home we just hung out.

Saturday I took the kids to the Home Depot build.  They each made a periscope and loved them.  When we got home we played outside for quite a while.  We hung up all of the Easter eggs I made.  The kids played outside but it was a little chilly for me so I stayed in the garage while they were playing.  The rest of the day we just hung out and played games.  S and I got into a UNO war to see who could win the most games.

Sunday B worked and the kids and I just hung out at home.  We dug in some gold bars and jewel bars hoping to find treasures.  They had a blast breaking open the sand bars.  A came over and did some bars with them.  That lucky little kid found gold.  It was messy but they had fun.

Last Week

Thursday-Another day of hanging out at home.  I may run to Target to check out the weekly clearance.

Friday-B is working so we are just going to hang out at home.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
