Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
Monday-B is going on a canoe trip down the Maumee River from Grand Rapids to Perrysburg. I convinced one of his co-workers to take the canoe trip with him so I did not have too. If they make it down the river with no problems then I will try it next time. S and I will take B and his friend to Grand Rapids and then head home to play until we get the phone call to pick them up. S is so excited because in the afternoon F (S’s cousin) is coming over to play. S was just listing all the things they were going to do: go swimming, jump on the trampoline, drive the truck, ride scooters, ride bikes, play trains, make snow cones, and more.
Tuesday-S has library books due so we will make a trip to the library. Who knows what else we will do?
Wednesday-Looks like a quiet day at home.
Thursday-Today is Target day and then later we will go to the farmer’s market for some peaches and hopefully pears.
Friday-B is off, so who knows what we will do.
Saturday-My brother is racing up at MIS so we will be heading up early to watch him race for part of the day. I plan on stopping at the cottage my grandma and grandpa built to show S. Last year I got a picture of him on the beach and plan on doing it again.
Sunday-Today we are just hanging out at home, maybe we will go out on the boat. Who knows?
Last Week Recap
Last week went pretty much as planned. Monday we packed for my brother’s, and then made four different kinds of cookies to take at total of about 12 dozen. Crazy I know, but, once I start I cannot stop. I made Pumpkin, Sugar, Pink Lemonade, and Peanut Butter cookies. Tuesday it seemed to take us forever to pack up and leave and then the rest of the week went as planned and we had a great time at my brother’s. I got scared by a snake in the water, S went tubing for the first time, S got scared by a snake in the water, we went out to eat and S did awesome and we went on boat rides that S loved. Friday we came home, and S and B went to the Tractor pulls while I stayed home. Saturday S did not want to do anything or go anywhere so we stayed home all day and played. Sunday B and S went to Anderson’s in the morning (S’s favorite place to go, he always gets muffins), while I got to sleep in. The rest of the day we hung out at home.
Monday-Packing and getting ready to go to my brother’s cottage tomorrow. S is so excited, gotta tell you I am a little too.
Tuesday-Waking B up in the morning and then packing the truck to leave. Spending the rest of the day having fun with family.
Wednesday-Cottage
Thursday-Cottage, No Target (maybe tomorrow) or farmer’s market
Friday-A little bit of play time in the morning and then packing up to come home. B is going to the tractor pulls sometime this weekend and has not decided if he will go today or Sunday. This will be S’s first tractor pull. Me, I will be enjoying my time at home!
Saturday-B took the weekend off, so who know what we may do, go out on the boat, or the new canoe (that is a tale for tomorrow in Troubled Tuesday).
Sunday-If B didn’t go to the tractor pull Friday he will be going today otherwise we will be home.
