Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week.  Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans.  Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable.  I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

My Weekly Goal

Monday-We are just hanging out at home.

Tuesday-B has catechism after school, otherwise we are just hanging out at home.

Wednesday-My niece is turning 1 so we are going to celebrate her birthday after school.  B is picking up his parents from the airport in the evening.  S and P are excited about them coming home.

Thursday-I am hoping to get the kids spring/Easter pictures done after school.

Friday-Not a whole lot going on so probably just being home.

Saturday-Another day of hanging out at home.

Sunday-A repeat of yesterday.

Last Week Recap

Monday we were surprised with how much snow was coming down and how fast.  By the time S got home from school there was plenty for S to plow.  We went outside after dinner and the kids plowed until the battery died in the Power Wheels truck.  The kids ran around in the snow and loved every minute of it.  This was P first time since she was a baby that she got to play out in the snow.  She ran around like the crazy Mowgli that she is.

Tuesday school was cancelled and so was P’s playgroup so we hung out at home.  It was a day of hanging out in our pajamas.  The snow was melting so the kids couldn’t go outside to play.  S had an Ohio Skate roller skating party in the evening that we went too.  This is the first time we have not left with one of them having a breakdown.  P was very independent and wanted to skate with no help.  She did really good.  S had fun skating around like a crazy kid.  He is the Forrest Gump of skating!

Wednesday we just hung out at home.  P is amazing at this potty training thing.  She rode in the car to pick up P from his after school program with undies on.  She was so proud of herself that she had undies on in the car.

Thursday was just a day of hanging out at home.  S went to school while P and I were at home.

Friday we hung out at home and it turned into a little neighbor playdate and dinner.  The kids played together, the adults got to hang out and talk, and we all had pizza and strawberry shortcake. I got yelled at for eating too much angel food cake earlier in the day so I skipped the strawberry shortcake.   It was a crazy day of weather.  We had snow during the day which started to melt by the time S got home from school.  I let him plow the slush up when he got home before his friends came over.

The kids wouldn’t stop long enough to get the picture to focus.

Saturday I went with my sister and her bridesmaids to watch her try on wedding dresses.  I have never done that before and it was fun to partake.  I think she might have found her dress.  After that S had a birthday party for a classmate.  He had a blast.  While he was gone I hung out at home with P.

Sunday we hung out at home.  Not a whole heck of a lot got done.  B worked on getting more trim work up, the kids played and got to read a book.

Last Week

My Weekly Goal-This week P and I are going to venture out to do something with her wearing undies.  We will see how it goes.

Monday-No plans so we are just hanging out waiting for this big snowstorm to come they are predicting.

Tuesday-P has her playgroup in the morning.  S doesn’t have catechism this week but his school is doing a roller skating fundraiser so we are roller skating after B gets home from work.

Wednesday-Another day of hanging out around the house.

Thursday-No plans just hanging out at home.

Friday-B is off so I am sure he will do something around the house while P and I just hang out.

Saturday-S has a birthday party in the afternoon for one of his classmates.  The rest of us will just hang out.

Sunday-We are just hanging out at home together.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
