When we traded our VW Tiguan in for a new car we got a VW GTI.  The sport model that B wanted did not come with leather/leatherette seats.  The seats are a cloth with this crazy design that matches the car.  B and I both really like the design but we learned when S was little that these seats do not work well with little ones.

B loved the idea of getting seat covers that would protect the backseat from the kid’s dirty shoes, sippy cups and food.  The seat covers were very easy to install.  The backrest and bottom covers both have 3 zippers.  This is to accommodate left and right 40/60 split, 60/40 split, 40/20/40 split, and 50/50 split.  An extra set of zippered cloth is included to cover the exposed rear bench area when split.  The seat covers look like they are part of the car and when looking at the back seat it looks like we got black seats.  When seat covers fit so well and look like part of the car that is essentially what you are looking for when using seat covers.
