Friday’s Letters

Dear B, Happy 10 year Anniversary!  I cannot believe it has been 10 years of marriage already.  So much has happened in the past 10 years, a few of the big things are: I graduated from college right after we got married, got another dog (Derby),  each got real jobs that would be our careers, sold and bought a house, lost our first baby (dog, Pudge), had a baby (S), got another dog (PJ) and are now expecting our second baby!   I can only imagine what the next 10 years are going to be.

Dear S, You have been the best little sous chef this week.  I love that we have been able to bake all these goodies and it keeps your attention.  I am impressed that you are even willing to help empty the dishwasher so we can get to baking faster.  Now for the decorating of all the desserts.

Dear New Baby, I am convinced that you are back out with your hands and feet pushing inward.  It feels like you are pushing as hard as you can to straighten your arms and legs out.  In return, it is causing my stomach to be super hard and have pains because I do not stretch like you are trying to make me.  Guess we will see what the doctor says at our appointment on Tuesday.

Dear Target, I cannot believe all of the good stuff I found yesterday when I was shopping.  I actually bought liquid Tide which is something that B and I have never done.  Since they no longer make Tide with Bleach in powder form, and I found it in liquid at 50% off, I could not pass it up.

Dear Derby, Please explain to me what in the world you were barking at yesterday for most of the day?  Every time I looked outside to see what you were barking at you were on the top deck just barking at the air.  There was nothing there.  Was I missing something or was there really nothing there?  I have caught you before barking at a laundry basket that was tipped on its side.  Please clue me in.

Dear Foto Friday, Since I have been giving myself a bedtime every night of 11:30pm so I can watch Jimmy Fallon and really so I can be in bed earlier, you are not going to be done until this afternoon.  I know I should have been on the ball and got it done last night, but it didn’t happen.  I was too into playing games on my phone.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
