Foto Friday

Foto (Photo) Friday is my show and tell of pictures from the last week.

  • It has been unseasonably warm this week and S took every opportunity to swim he could.  In this pic, he was swimming in the rain.  Since he was already wet, what was the point of getting out for a little sprinkle?
  • S is extremely clingy on days that we have Baby A.  When Baby A goes home, S has to be touching me somehow.  Since he wants to be clingy and cuddle in the heat, I am going to take advantage of those moments and capture them.

  • I asked S to hold Baby A for a second so that I could go get a bottle warmed up for Baby A.  He happily agreed and sat there holding him for a couple of minutes before he told me Baby A was getting to heavy and was falling out of his arms.  That is exactly why S had to sit on the floor when he was holding him.
  • S got a new toy for the pool.  Go figure on my birthday he gets a new toy.  Oh well, I have been saving this since last year for him and he loves it.  The shark catches fish in his mouth and S thinks it is hysterical.

  • If you ask S, he made this cake for me all by himself.  I measured the water out, he poured the water and cake mix in the mixer, turned it on and off all by himself.  He poured the cake batter in the pan, I just scraped the sides into the pan and put it in the oven.  S turned the timer on, B pulled it out of the oven (Baby A was sleeping on me so I couldn’t) and flipped it.  I cut the cake away from the sides of the pan and S got it out of the mold.  I did write “Happy Birthday Mama!”  S told me what I had to write and where to put the blob of frosting for the one candle.
  • S wanted to sing Happy Birthday all by himself without any help.  This was his song, “Happy birthday to mama, happy birthday to mama.”  That is it, when B tried to sing the song the correct way S was not happy and told B he already sang it to me.  Soooooo cute!

  • Yesterday, Baby A was in the bouncer when I was eating my cereal when S came over with his chair, and repositioned Baby A so they could watch Chuggington together.  When I asked S why he did this, he said because Baby A likes trains, too.
  • Not even 5 minutes later, Baby A started crying and S flipped his chair over and hid underneath it saying, “Make it stop!”  He kept asking me when Meghan was coming back to get Baby A.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
