Foto (Photo) Friday is a show and tell of pics from the past week. I said I was going to get on top of the posts and get them done daily. Well that didn’t happen in the last week because I ran into a few glitches with the new computer. I got them figured out so hopefully I can do the daily posts again.
- P finally learned how to ride a 2-wheeler! I knew she could do it but was just too scared to do it on her own. I bribed her with 3 things: Dave and Buster’s, ice cream, and a baby Snow White (I have it already in the basement.). She was all about Dave & Buster’s and has not even asked me about the other two prizes. P wanted SpongeBob cards like S has won in the past and this pink water bottle. S and P have been saving there tickets for a really long time to get something big. P really likes little things (which are not many tickets), and S only wants the big stuff (he always passes on the little things). This time S got a remote control boat. He was so excited and charged it as soon as he got home so he could use it the next day after school.
- I watched Little B last week. I love having her and she loves this dog treat dispenser. When I picked it up and she heard the bell in it she came crawling right over and waited for me to load it with Cheerios. Little B and Dinky hung out in the living room together moving the toy around to try to tip the Cheerios out.
- They always say little dogs don’t like to sleep on the ground and will try to sleep elevated because they are afraid of being stepped on. She definitely fits that category. Dinky has taken to sleeping on pillows, whether they are on the floor or on the couch. You will never find her sleeping on just the couch if there is a pillow that she can climb on top of. The only place she sleeps without a pillow is the kids chairs.
- Every day P asks if she can go out and ride her bike now that she can do it without training wheels. From the minute she gets up until it is time to get ready for bed. I love it and usually will go out with her so she can. She is riding her bike when I go for walks with the dog. This past week P rode her bike twice when I walked around working on the Architectural Scavenger Hunt.
- B surprised me this week and got me donuts for my birthday. When I got up to go workout this was the first year that B hasn’t gotten me a donut in quite a few years. When I got to the gym the owner was teaching the class and came up to me and said Happy Birthday right away. I was surprised and figured he checked Facebook early in the morning. Then I saw a box of donuts and was like, “Wow they really celebrate your birthday.” I thought it was ironic because I am going to the gym to lose weight and eat healthier and he got me donuts. No B showed up at 5:30am on his way home from work with donuts and gave them to the owner to surprise me. It worked, but if I was the owner I would have taken credit for it (at least for a while!).
- Walgreens had there summer clearance and I got a ton of stuff. This is just the outdoor/pool stuff I got. I posted all the pictures on my Instagram account and may do a cost breakdown posts if I get time.
