Foto Friday

Foto (Photo) Friday is a show and tell of pics from the past week.

  • I love my hammock swing and saw these on sale at Menard’s and had B pick up two of them for the kids.  P sat in her swing next to me.  The two of us just hung out together (literally).
  • I have been working with P to get her to ride a 2-wheeler.  She can do it but is too scared to actually pedal when I let go of her bike seat.  So we hooked up the third wheel to my bike.  I would have hooked it up to use this summer anyways because she it now too big for the baby seat in front of me.  I am hoping riding behind me will give her more confidence to try it on her own.

  • We went to 577 Foundation.  This is the first time I have ever gone and just the second and third time for the kiddos.  They really liked it, but I was not impressed.  I thought it would take longer to look around and do everything but they were done and ready to go in less than a half hour.
  • A turned 6 and we had to do a little “neighbor” celebration somehow.  I decided to make chocolate chip cookies and turn them into ice cream sandwiches.  For A’s special sandwich I took mini chips and made a 6 on one of the cookies.  P had to have no chips in her cookies because she doesn’t like chocolate.  S doesn’t really like chocolate either, but is learning to tolerate it in some food.  I did really good and did not cheat at all on my 42 day fitness/meal plan.

  • P love the fairy doors when we go over to TeeTee’s and is always asking her when she can get a fairy door.  After 577 this week her, L, and A have been asking about fairies so while P was at safety town S and I went to Papa’s and got a bunch of “fairy stuff.”  They each made there own little fairy gardens.  P of course got to have the SpongeBob pineapple house for her fairy garden.  She is so proud of it and checks on the fairies every day.
  • We are watching Little B while her parents when on a working vacation to Alaska.  I love having her with us.  She really is such a happy baby, which is a big change from when she was a newborn.  She loves to swing will easily swing for over an hour.  On a side note the swing she is in is from my uncle who used it for his daughter who just turned 50.  It is in really good condition and still has the sticker tag on the back of the swing!

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
